17/2/2021 23:48 | many thanx cmb, post 31295, ""I am just sitting on the shares I hold in my portfolio"",,, you are the epitome of the correct approach :-),,, very little activity and living the chilled out life whilst watching your investments play out,,,, excellent work cmb,,,, I'm working hard on that approach, starting a couple of weeks ago :-) :-) cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
17/2/2021 23:33 | Constant decisions mean the market ebbs and flow with people choosing activity over inactivity even if that activity hurts - The Best Investors Make The Fewest Decisions..... ......it pains me to think about the hours I’ve spent obsessing over the ABC stocks in favor of the XYZ companies. All for the sake of activity. note to self - work more/harder on/at this :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi

17/2/2021 22:00 | Jeanesy you should see a bloodbath bear slide, I mean real bear slide, nothing rarely escapes as liquidity issues force sales but miners do bounce hard, at least the quality ones. That’s why P.M bulls keep a toes, foot or leg in the water, all depends on risk tolerance and whether you feel compelled to look at portfolio valuations daily, weekly, by the minute. If you don’t and can switch off, not suffer from irregular bowel movements under such periods of investor stress, it tends to work out ok. | ![]() riggerbeautz

17/2/2021 21:09 | Think your deduction of potential 25k/Qtr gold production is sound DP. The pick-up above the 17-18k level orig. target for 2020 [ie Covid lite and conscription free] driven by the new u/g mine at the sub main pit end of the Gadir-Gedabek resource. We have been advised that there will be interruptions to this new production due to thje parallel development of the new mine extension; hence the 25k level an intermittent one i guess. Yeah, will be helpful to learn more about the resource and any challenges in excavation. There was an unexpected hold during Q4 when they encountered a fault line but maybe that will prove a 1 off that only delayed the ramp-tunnel construction down to the ore body. When the PSA extension given a lot can change and hopefully 2022, 23 ....production grip our attentions over and above this year's edit Just read your latest Matt. PSA extension .......and maybe even something on the enlarged Gedabek/gosha CA too? | ![]() 2sporrans
17/2/2021 20:57 | 2sp ... folk generally can't see what's in front of them. They don't see a 'today' event likely to affect valuation and therefore just ignore / overlook what, in plain sight, advises them of a 'tomorrow' event. The price is near 138 support & there are some scenting that opportunity .. including the M&M's who are keen to stretch the spread as the buying creeps in thereabouts but, still hope for some more sellers. The day for the critical PSA extension RNS is getting close .... not wise to sell now, imo. | ![]() mattjos
17/2/2021 20:54 | Good points 2s. I still think back to the RNS late last summer when they said production had been slowed by covid but was picking up and they would hit full year target by going into the dip down. The war intervened but the implication was that AAZ could produce 25k oz in Q4. I'd like to know more about that and the dip down generally. Are we into it yet? What are the grades etc. | ![]() donald pond
17/2/2021 20:45 | For those that missed Bill's latest presentation, the one facilitated by Hardman, a recording finally popped up on: hxxps://www.angloasi My first hearing too and along with the consensus here, thought it one of Bill's best, if not THE best delivered by him. My one quibble is the slides, again, made bold reference to potential new production commencing in 2021. Surprised no questions raised to elicit some details to substantiate. edit: just noticed Wanobi beat me to it ....... whatever. | ![]() 2sporrans
17/2/2021 20:39 | On the POG Passed comment a few times over past year or so that miners sps seem overly sensitive to the movements in POG as opposed to its level. 2 yrs ago, ~$1300/oz and AAZ was generating impressive cashflow and rapid paydown of debt. 1 yr ago and AAZ forecast for 2020 av. gold sale price was $1480. Hardman projection to 2025 assumed no higher than $1750 for any of the years, some lower otoh. And that brings me onto another AAZ topic, next post. | ![]() 2sporrans
