Also recommend looking at RBW and PRE, both rare earth metal explorers/miners.

RBW is on a roll at the moment and was up 35% on Friday and 20% so far today probably helped by the article below. PRE is waiting a business plan which is due this week or next and would also expect a significant rerate as this will be by far a bigger operation

Agjabedi, Beylagan, Geranboy, Goygol, Gazakh and Tovuz are towns spread over a really large area (and - reassuringly - none of them are right next to AAZ's CAs).

odsjp, thank you for sharing that, the outcome of those auctions will underpin the value of AAZ's contract areas. It will be interesting to see the quality of the eventual bidders, as well as what they are willing to pay. AAZ imo still has to be the best genuine bargain in the market.

The restoration of the liberated territories has begun...

A ceremony of laying the Horadiz-Agbend railway was held in the Fizuli region the day before with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The strategic importance of this road, 100 km long is the fact that it will play an important role in visiting the liberated territories and restore direct railway communication with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR).
"The road will be extended to Turkey, creating a second railway network connecting Azerbaijan and Turkey," Aliyev said at the ceremony.

According to the president, 17 hydroelectric power plants with a capacity of 120 mV will be restored or built in Lachin and Kelbajar regions alone.

I got £5k at 2.25 but was trying to buy all the way up. I checked and at £1.95 they would happily take 50k, but nothing to buy for ages. Never seen such manipulation so blatantly.

Jeeze told you it would be fun at ARB this afternoon lol. Anyone buy on the drop? I got £1k worth at £2.10 was trying for £10k from around £2 but it wasn't having that so took a 0 of to see if there was anything. Couldn't even get another £1k then next time it offered was £2.29 totally bent drop that on a pointless speeding ticket RNS. Now here comes the Yanks.

DXY may not make much sense, but I'm not sure sterling being worth 25% more in dollar terms than 12 months ago is logical either. It doesn't pay to try to make sense of stuff right now.

And there goes gold again below USD1,800.

It has had a really good seven months and long may the high price continue, but with the noises being made right now it's hard to see it going back toward USD1,900 in the near-term.

Admittedly, it takes a bit of the shine off AAZ, but it isn't a material problem (1) AAZ produces gold cheaply; (2) AAZ has other metallic strings to its bow; and (3) a lower price puts pressure on gold producers who are saddled with debt and AAZ is not one of them!

Wan, thank you for post 31135. Yet again on the charts I look at(Bigcharts), there isn't a gap. The trades also show an overlap.

Both have made a good start to the week (REAT and JAN). I believe there was an announcement this morning which I'm now going to read (busy morning) but I'm sure Riggerbeautz has kept you all up to date.
