24/11/2020 16:38 | some really really great posts today guys,,, many thanx, well done and keep up the good work,,, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
24/11/2020 16:30 | re SAVE, there is also some dislike of the CEO, his pay and how long it has taken to get things done. I have owned in the past and can see the attraction but not currently holding. Worth speaking to ZENGAS and others on the SAVE thread to get the lie of the land. | homebrewruss
24/11/2020 16:29 | 2k more for me. Back to warzone prices. As for the POG impact, well look at TSG, SHG, CEY, HUM, HOc....today. | 2sporrans
24/11/2020 16:24 | Arab3 honestly I cant see the rocks in ORPH, worrying I know, it is making money hand over fist in non CV19 challenge studies and needs more space. That's easy to find as companies that do challenge studies are rare, but clinics are not, and the Belgian clinic we are looking to hire is owned by our main competitor which is a large multinational SGS but they have a very small amount of challenge studies they can do and even they are talking of building a new clinic for all the work they see coming. I suspect they will buy out ORPH at come point to get the 8, IIRC, challenge study models we have to add to their 2. The only downside possible is that viruses disappear or the money stops flowing into their development but all pharma companies seem to be rotating into them after years of researching cancer and avoiding them the view appears to have changed because of CV19. Listen to the interview below I just heard its interesting. CF now hinting at a takeover is still possible and saying he expects to grow the company to double its market cap, circa 50p. That is where I would price it and then any takeover premium plus a few divis from non core disposals on top which is possibly the only downside as they may not get the market price which is in £100s of millions for the flu V vaccine plus mosquito vaccine and few other bits and pieces, these are not in the price right now. Market cap of ORPH around £170 million so divis could be good. Disclaimer DYOR don't take my word for it I can easily be wrong. | pogue
24/11/2020 16:22 | oakey1, thanks, kind of you to say. You have done well for yourself and brought up some interesting investment propositions on the board. There's a lot to like in that research note: 1) Low costs of production 2) Robust gas contracts (with inflation built into pricing?) 3) World bank guarantee 4) Great forecast cash flows (and free cash generation) 5) Lots of untapped exploration potential (and potential for farm out of assets) 6) Low capex requirements for development 7) Good progress on cost cutting so far 8) Huge amount of sunk capital expenditure on the aquisition assets relative to enterprise value of the business 9) Potential to re-finance at lower interest rates and vastly improve economics 10) Highly lucrative individual gas contracts being negotiated with other power plants etc 11) Take or pay gas contract underpinning robust revenues Negatives: 1) It's Nigeria - how reliable will payments for sales be? 2) Standard execution risk I will likely take a position later next week after payday, so hopefully stays around 10p for now :) Need to read the SAVE board now to absorb some more detailed info.. | king suarez
24/11/2020 16:12 | KS good to see you are interested in SAVE...I’ve always valued your opinion so it’s quite reassuring to see you give one of my investments a thumbs up...I have insomnia so I do ALOT of research before I invest but always good to have someone with a knack for the figures to reinforce what I think I’ve read...I’m a wood butcher so unless they present the accounts in feet and inches I struggle a bit 😁👍 | oakey1
24/11/2020 16:08 | Typical. RBW currently up 10% and I dropped it from my choice in the comp this week. Still happy if it keeps going up. Expecting due diligence to be completed in two weeks on its co-development project so will be surprised if released this week. | odsjp
24/11/2020 16:03 | win well and truly broken out now, such an anomaly compared to clipper and others e fulfilment. | celeritas
24/11/2020 16:00 | I was looking at PTAL for a top-up too, but didn't have any spare funds or anything I wanted to sell. I think the recent operational update was promising and don't see why they should not recover to 20-30p in time, even given the increase in shares in issue. Always worth keeping an eye on shares you have sold (and researched) incase the situation/story changes for the better. | king suarez
24/11/2020 15:59 | AAZ - nice shake out of weak holders today :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
24/11/2020 15:57 | so far so good KS,,, ended up buying more that I originally had, so I actually ended up averaging down YIKES :-) LOL,,,, oh what a game :-) LOL GLA Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
24/11/2020 15:56 | Thanks - I thought so. Definitely on my short-list for next months investment monies, I can see how it has potential to multi-bag from this level. | king suarez
24/11/2020 15:51 | KS, yep it used to be SAVP | otemple3
24/11/2020 15:47 | Wan - your PTAL (re)investment is looking perfectly (and very astutely) timed! Well done. | king suarez
24/11/2020 15:46 | Have had a bit of a read through the Finncap note on SAVE and it looks like quite a compelling investment. Did the ticker used to be SAVP? I seem to remember reading about it before (and shortly) after the Nigerian aquisition.. | king suarez
24/11/2020 15:46 | What if you call it the other way pogue, can you also put in a bad word for orph ? | arab3
24/11/2020 15:31 | that jinxed ITM promptly dropped when I said it would finish the day about even lol | pogue
24/11/2020 15:30 | Hey Wan 4D is indeed a no brainer which is why I threw a lot at it down at 35p...ignore the dip it’s just folk repositioning imo...might even buy more if that gap wizardry comes to pass 😁😁 | oakey1
24/11/2020 15:03 | The ARB chart looks like a classic EW 5 wave chart in play from roughly March onwards? | king suarez
24/11/2020 14:58 | An interesting article on the miracle vaccines that have been developed in record time. 'Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson are leading candidates for the completion of a Covid-19 vaccine likely to be released in the coming months. These companies have published their vaccine trial protocols. This unusually transparent action during a major drug trial deserves praise, close inspection of the protocols raises surprising concerns. These trials seem designed to prove their vaccines work, even if the measured effects are minimal.....' | pogue
24/11/2020 14:54 | arab3 I expect it to close roughly where it started its climbing back just now hence it looks like a top after taking a dislike to £4. | pogue
24/11/2020 14:27 | Thanks Wan, closing that gap now, holding my breath! | teataster
24/11/2020 14:17 | No Brasso, not my thing but seen them around on forums, nice though. | riggerbeautz
24/11/2020 14:14 | Rigger Have you got your hands on any of the Covid 10oz bars? I have a few now, they are very nice! | brasso3 |
