As I said, Wanobi, you'll make up your own mind re PPC.

I forgot to add that Trafigura are a major holder of shares in PPC and an offtaker of production. Compania General de Combustibles also a holder.

The large shareholders hold about 63% of all shares (excluding CGC)..

Thank's for the enquiry!

On a serious note odsjp, you can’t be expected to add people’s dividends back into their positions week to week, a step too far I think. Good luck all this week.

Peter Levine has contempt for the private investor. The most recent evidence of this is the 35m options at 1p (current price 1.6p) granted to senior management.

PPC - Lost about 20k a few years ago, swapped emails with Peter Levine, basically told me to do one and leave him to run the company. I took my loss at 9p, look at them now, totally uninvestible imo. What he meant to say was ‘leave me to run the company into the ground’.

Wanobi,

I think the best advice I can give with regards to PPC is to read through the last couple of months of RNS's.

You will then get a proper idea of how things are progressing.

You'll make up your own mind.

I like the Company.

PPC are addicted to placings. That is why the share price has collapsed 95% in the last 7/ 8 years. Look at the exponential growth in shares in issue since 2012:-

Oct 2012 - 249,949,887
Feb 2014 - 395,581,763
Nov 2015 - 525,320,628
Dec 2016 - 953,597,617
Oct 2017 - 1,020,254,127
Oct 2018 - 1,072,840,262
Mar 2019 - 1,126,560,677
Nov 2019 - 1,135,282,890
Jan 2020 - 1,216,925,264
Apr 2020 - 1,266,272,332
Jun 2020 - 2,007,914,603

Wanobi, a bit of feedback, as requested.....

PPC has been (and still is) working on an extensive workover and drilling programme which will very shortly lead to a sharp increase in production of gas and oil.

They have just successfully completed and tested two new wells, one a development well and one, more importantly, a discovery well.

An enormous amount of work has been carried out on infrastructure, funded from cash flow and the Company probably has never been in such a strong financial position.

Also in advanced discussions with a National Oil Company with regard to a farm-in to the Company's vast acreage in Paraguay.

Unfortunately, most of the bulletin boards are hijacked by posters pretending to be investors, but their underlying goal, so far as I can make out, is to keep the boards as negative as possible.

Of course, they have no influence on free cash flow and increasing revenue and EBITDA.

The spike in volume at PPC was IFC (World Bank) selling out from around 6%.

They have been a long term holder for about 8 years so took a massive loss!

Please, I would now like to switch my pot from solely GFM and put 50% into CPX & 50% into AAZ.Many thanks for running the competition .. it's a great way to focus the mind towards short term trading which, i generally loathe but, this way i can have a crack at it in theory.Good luck to all for the coming week :-)

hi Pp, just took a look at PPC charts,

free stock charts from uk.advfn.com

I see a recent volume spike which begs the question why?

Also, what will be the catalysts for PPC's share price to start moving up from its current sideways trend?

Could be a great entry level / accumulation level if there are good reasons to do so?

would greatly appreciate any feedback, thanx :-)

many thanx
Cheers
Wan :-)

Thanks ARPhillips for the info.

I have amended 11_Percent's CAML holding accordingly. The closing price of 188.60, I have changed to 194.60 resulting in his CAML holding increasing in value to £11,120, so an increase of £343. This will be his starting balance for his CAML holding for next week.

Odsjp - Hi, I'm a lurker on this exceptionally good board and interested to see different posters pick each week, hoping that my own shares are a popular choice. I note 11 percent had CAML last week which went X-div on Thursday (6 pence) and just wondered whether his investment pot should be amended accordingly. Keep up the excellent work.

Another good interview from Taj Singh Rodders. I don’t have a large position in DSV but I may have to move some more funds into it soon.

Been a beautiful day today, blue skies and bright sunshine most of the day here in North Yorkshire, hope you have all enjoyed the weather today and been out and got some exercise and fresh air.

Not sure if you read the MF view on LOOP from Friday. It is now on my watchlist as the potential looks really good.

qaz:
See you also picked IMM. A bit of a gamble but could rise building up to Dec 4th with investors hoping for conditional approval of Lupuzor. If it does get the approval then Mon Dec 7th would be interesting. It was also mention in the DM weekly report.

Re:41730

It’s a small hydro electric plant. There are many small hydro plants all around Kalbajar it would seem. They simply use the river rather than a dam so each one is small scale.

Here’s a video of one being destroyed by the leaving population. Note, the “journalist” concerned is far from independent despite his proclamations, he’s been documenting from the Armenian view point the whole war.

And I’ve even gone so far as to geo-locate it!
