Good morning, luck, health & peace to all this fine, but dark morning :-) Cheers Wan :-)

EVG - the long awaited RNS has landed :-) and I do like this bit;

"We hope that the outcome of this trial will lead to an additional treatment for COVID-19 patients and that SFX-01 could play a big part in managing the current pandemic...."

will that finally get its paltry MCAP noticed by the cv19 bingo players,,, we shall see,,,, GLA Holders..

Cheers

Posted this on 6th October:

"The Armenian defence of NK looks vulnerable in that replenishment
of whatever is being consumed fast is ultimately dependent upon
just 2 main roads, large stockpiles notwithstanding.
These roads have been coming under missile attack and the main
newer one - to the North - is within 15km of Azerzi artillery.
The Azerzis control the air....though guess will degrade AA defences before
committing more than drones."

The road through the Lachin corridor you refer to is the 'old' road; the new one, through the North end of the occupied districts, is engineered to a higher standard/capacity but, even now, yet more vulnerable to [shelling] attack.

I'm a bit surprised to see evidence the Ajerzi forces have advanced units so far Northwards from Jabrayil district, just a few days after finally securing the main town there of same name and their own supply routes thereof; especially so seeing the mountainous terrain to the North and Lachin corridor favours the defender.
Perhaps the Armenians have had to commit most reserves to the established NK fronts and have little left to resist this thrust.
Even if this is the case, the Azerzis will themselves be at risk that their advanced supply lines [mostly just tracks?] will become ever more stretched and increasingly vulnerable to counter attack.
Further, the imminent winter could do more to disrupt or even block them than the defenders; hence perhaps the urgency to force a conclusion ?

A lot of the NK civilians have abandoned homes and now in Armenia as such, maybe more than half now. Must be hell already with all the 'saturation' shelling but like you say, can get much worse.

If the Azerzis do win the war, how well will they manage the 'peace'?
Maybe the Russkies will help out.

Well that video of the Az troop carrier which had hit a mine today (all escaped unharmed) is only 10km from the Lachin corridor. (There are a few quality geomapping sleuths on Twitter)
If they gain that road then Stepanakert (and all eastern sector) loses its supply/escape route
Then it could be a whole new level of mess. It should quicken the end of the war but it will also have consequences for the civilian populations.

Having watched this conflict unfold as we all have I find it very depressing that technology has removed the ability of communities to defend and protect themselves on both sides . My sympathises are conficted in that I feel the Armenian population in NK have been persuaded by politicians that they are in the right and are safe and protected..none of those guarantees have been true imv.As a disadvantaged claimant how does Azerbaijan rectify a breach in international law if they spend 30 years watching other nations politicians sit on the problem ?

Az gains picking up speed it seems.
Has the defence force cracked, at least in the south? Some videos of soldiers outside of Qubadli.

The information war has been comprehensively won. It’s hard to convince your troops to continue to fight if they can go online and see their army being systematically picked off on YouTube with little in return. Morale must be a critical problem. A very different war to the one 30 years ago.

Add it to the list of things fundamentally changed by the internet.

I wonder what the share price would be if the company offered to pay the dividend in 1oz units of gold and top up the difference in $? Would be a interesting concept, they could charge a small premeium for delivery for those that would be interested. How many here would say 'yes please'?

SP Angel are always, always conservative on AAZ & I quite like that they are.

Just as in 2015, whilst the AAZ share price seemed to drift relentlessly sideways whilst the underlying strength of the company slowly grew & grew before it became undeniable to even the most idiotic of market observers in the spring of 2016, I kind of expect something like that to repeat now.
Strong metal prices are going to negate any minor Covid/regional dispute induced miss on GEO's.
2021 and we should be able to maintain a fantastic dividend, get deeper u/g at Gedabek, continue to accumulate cash at the bank, get busy in Ireland, submit the necessary data for Avschancli & Gilar with detailed mine & investment plans.

The share price may continue to frustrate near-term but, the company is strengthening all the time and at some point even the donuts will cotton-on once again and take the price a lot higher.
Be patient .. just be patient, take the fantastic dividend and await developments. Is it that hard a thing to do?

Matt, Chestnuts,

I suggest that's not correct and I've studied EWT for more than 20-years. When Elliot proposed his theory (The Wave Principle in 1938) he stated there are only 3 rules and they can't be violated. (1) Wave 2 never retraces more than 100% of wave 1. (2) Wave 3 cannot be the shortest of the three impulse waves.(3) Wave 4 may never end in the price territory of wave 1.

Precter & Frost (Elliott Wave Principle in 1978) suggested there is an exception to the Wave 4 rule in the rare pattern of a diagonal triangle within a wave 1 position of impulses and the wave A position of Zigzags. Subsequently other authors have suggested the rule may be broken in the futures market. Even if the exceptions are valid, and they are contested, neither apply here.

Just as we were hoping to gain some upward momentum gold decide to take a wobble. It's taken 9 years just for gold to get back to where it once was, so I don't see anything near $16000/oz. I reckon $2800-$3000 max in 3-5 years
