Indeed brasso but the bigger message for me is what does that say to countries like the UK who have just opened the pubs up and are rushing back to save the economy.

Talk about being in a 'rock and hard place'

And this with measures in place ...

6 July 2020

Hochschild provides update on COVID-19 cases at Inmaculada

Hochschild Mining PLC ("Hochschild" or "the Company") is today announcing that, despite taking a number of preventative measures, including a comprehensive testing programme as well as quarantine for all employees, there has been a number of workers testing positive for Covid-19 at the Inmaculada operation. In the circumstances, the Company has naturally prioritised the health of its employees above business continuity and temporarily halted operations.

As before, Inmaculada will continue with a reduced workforce operating care and maintenance activities at the site. Hochschild expects to resume operations as soon as a safe and healthy workforce can return to site.

Both Pallancata in Peru and San Jose in Argentina currently remain in operation.

Still have some RRE, happy to get the uplift and move on. A 70% premium will always do the job - I'd even sell AAZ for that!

Does anyone else agree that ECR Minerals must be among the most undervalued companies currently in the market?

ODR, thank you for your compliment but I did not invest in VLS. It was a question by Fozzie I think that I mentioned VLS.He wanted to know about green energy. So I mentioned VLS then.
One has to remember that 72% of companies in the AIM lose money for their investors. So I am very coitus of investing in AIM Co's. I only invest when a trend has set in for a bit and after doing my full DYOR.
I have been in AAZ since the 16P days.
It is my largest holding in my portfolio. AAZ is an exceptional Co.
If anyone knows of a better one please do let me know. On very rare occasions I do trade but not much at all these days.
I wish you luck with ECR.

callmebwana ..great call on VLS
re ECR ... first impression of CEO and yes not a good vibe but I think by luck or judgement they have the right assets, right place, right time.

Some massive finds all around them and adjacent to Newmont licence area.

Hoping next news includes Newmont .. will add instant credibility and share price could do a GGP after Newcrest tie up

I am all for this free money.
I am sure we can all find someone in our past generations that would be classed as a slave.
How about all those men that were sent to die in the first world war?
They had no choice when they got their conscription papers.
Do as you are told or get locked up or worse, shot.

Well that's me placed firmly in the Far right box then.

Yes Wan. At times just sitting on your hands can pay back very handsomely.
Being cautious is the motto of the day for me at the moment too. I am sitting on the cash from POG sale etc,etc and in no rush to put it anywhere soon.
GLA,however you play the market.

thanx cmb, all,,, I'm taking a very cautious approach to things right now, so nothing too exciting for me,,, other than AVCT,,, which, should the LFT and CV19 neutralising treatment work should,,, absolutely blow the doors off,,, especially for use in the USA,,, in my humble opinion,,, fingers crossed, we shall see,,, cheers Wan :-)

I see TXP has been tipped as punt of the week in the Daily Mail,,, not sure I like TXP being associated with a punt,,, in my humble opinion the opportunity there is far better than that,,,, 'investment of the week', yes!!!!

ECR will explode if there is any tie up with Newmont on the Creswick license.

"we are talking to two groups. One of them is the third largest gold mining company in the world and they are particularly fond of Creswick..." (3 min 20 seconds)

"in close proximity to our Creswick mine. All around we have three very successful mines in operation plus we have Newmont which is the third largest gold producer in the world..." (5 min 25 seconds)

Yes Wan,the Chart looks good. The CEO has gone now. It is a question of how one views the current interest into the Co. by old shareholders and newbies, the reason I first mentioned it,was the trend in the Chart. A whiff of bad news and one can get locked in,unless one exercises a tight stop loss !!
The case against the Co is in the USA and from my past experience they do punish the Co's that have done wrong knowingly. Ricket Benckiser have paid the big amount $1.3 Billion of negotiated compensation and have walked away. Will they now punish INDV or will they make a negotiated settlement with INDV.
I will read up some more RNS's on LSE and I will give you my view tomorrow.
I did not want you to rely on the Chart alone because they have Dr.Ready that are making generic medication that are much cheaper.
Now where is Stig ?? He would know a bit about this lot.
Enjoy a beer or two tonight and if you have free time do some DYOR on it.

Each poster names their ticker before start of business on Monday 7am. and confirms gain or loss % close of business following Friday.
