all good chart-wise c0lin1, Golden Cross back in the middle of April 2020, RSI holding above 50 since it crossed up in early April, MACD ok, volumes very small currently,,, kind of a sideways momentum now until they present actual progress rather than talked about progress,,, to me anyhow :-),,, a sit back and wait period for the share price and take the divi along the way..... all the time PofGold is firming up well... cheers Wan :-)

Just waiting for one 'new' (currently unknown) spark to emerge and then should react upwards.You can sense the pressure building, despite the ongoing consolidation, just like gold recently (now $1,770)

Donald pond

Half a million a week more than a year ago.
Yet the share price is at the same price.
We have also not been sitting on our hands doing nothing for the last 12 months.
The exploration we are doing is showing very good results.
We have become debt free.
Paying a very good divi.
And it seems that we are within spitting distance of a JV.
Record profits,and plenty of money in the bank.
All the things you would think would have people queing up to buy shares.

After yesterdays UKGOV announcement it seems almost certain to me,,, that, unfortunately we are looking at a second wave come Sept/Oct time and a further lock down through the winter this year,,, let's face it, how many people are going to follow all those new rules,,, I hope I am wrong, but, I feel most will simply think its now business as usual and lets get out there and party through the summer... perhaps I'm being too harsh on us Brits,,, hope so :-) GLA Cheers Wan :-)

AVCT - yep, progress it seems, but without any sensitivity or accuracy numbers so far as they now look to improve on their initial results prior to moving rapidly to production,,, they say :-) Hmm tasty, should send the share price UP,,, which is now Wan speak for DOWN LOL,,, let's see, GLA Cheers Wan :-)

With the usual zero hedge caveats, this is also worth a view:
The message though is simple: its not really a strong market if it isn't hitting highs in gold terms. And gold is holding up better than stocks, not just over the last 1 or 3 months, but over the last 18 months. There is something not quite right in the global economic system for that to be the case.

On gold, important to note that the spike to 1920 was very short lived. A lot of people would say that if you look at the monthlies and quarterlies, the real all time high is around 1800.
It's all moot: Sunanu said this time last year that they might look at hedging if gold hit 1800: we have come such a long way where what seemed fanciful now seems inevitable. All we need is the piece in the jigsaw that shows how AAZ is going to increase production to take full advantage of the increase in gold prices. In the meantime, the $400+ that gold has increased over the last year means we are banking $80,000 extra each day, over half a million a week, more than we were last year. And other than tax and the PSA, that is all profit.

Positive initial data from first Affimer-based rapid test strips for SARS-COV-2 spike protein
Avacta Group plc (AIM: AVCT), the developer of Affimer(R) biotherapeutics and reagents is pleased to announce that the first Affimer-based rapid test strips to detect SARS-COV-2 spike protein have been developed and evaluated by Avacta's partners at Cytiva (formerly GE Healthcare Life Sciences) and show positive initial performance data.
In mid-May Avacta provided Affimer reagents that are specific to the SARS-COV-2 spike protein to Cytiva which has now developed the first lateral flow test strips using these reagents and generated initial performance data using coronavirus spike protein.
These data show that the test strips detect the spike protein in model samples at concentrations within the clinical range found in saliva of patients with COVID-19. Work continues now to refine the test strip design, optimise its performance and get the best detection limit possible in order to generate the highest sensitivity in the final rapid test product.
Following the optimisation of the lateral flow test by Cytiva the design will then be transferred to manufacturing partners in the UK that are currently being put in place by Avacta.
