Cinoib... It's nicely warm 'in Blighty' mate. Currently 27°C in the wilds of East Anglia... or for old farts 80.6°F! Don't think much about your forecast though... for gold or sp! ;)

There are some nice assets in the Tethyan belt that aaz could jv into and be a fantastic partner to an explorer given they have very good development experience of previously operated assets that are long since abandoned. A prime example would be the incredibly rich former bosnian mines that asx listed adriatic are proving up or the former mines in Cyprus that Chesterfield are working on that have been operating for thousands of years and a very similar story to Gedabek in both history and geology. Having a big pile of cash and ample cash flow as well as development experience is going to make them the JV partner of choice.

lefrene... Might POG be that 'great partner'? It does meet some of the criteria and they are at a very interesting juncture themselves... with some recent speculation of a merger around them too! I'm just idlingly speculating... and don't really believe this to happen... but... ;)

I noticed that item Cybernest53, one wonders how long "shortly" might be? I suppose some outfit with a good in the ground asset but little experience and not much cash might find AAZ an excellent way to rapid production and profit. AAZ brings proven excellence of management systems and operating also cash if necessary. So an inexperienced but asset rich, cash poor company in a good jurisdiction, would find AAZ a great partner.

From Reza's statement: "Suitable opportunities of the right size in good jurisdictions are rare and the landscape is very competitive. However, the Company has been actively investigating several opportunities and negotiations are at an advanced stage for one potential joint venture. I look forward to making further announcements about this shortly when the negotiations are concluded."

Bozzy_s I'm surprised no one else is speculating on what this could be (unless I missed it ~ Apologies if I did) It's a strong statement on intent and I find this really interesting. Any one want to hazard a guess on what this is likely to relate to?

People out there buying Herts and they are bankrupt?
They just need to do a little digging and they would find this hidden jewel.

Nice chance to buy ALTN today for those who thought it got away from them a little too far.

Healthy flush of the usual 'round' number sellers today with buyers starting to nibble in and take advantage.
