I think you are all making too much about him touching his ear ! he was already doing it before the question was asked. My focus was more on the excitement around oncology. His speech speeded up and he enthused about well things were going there and was looking forward to updating us on how things were progressing. Next week will hopefully be the start of good news for 4D holders :)

British CEOs hate talking about their personal self interest and he knows he's going to make shedloads so i think he pulled on his ear i think as he sought to deflect away from the questions concentration on him and his wealth? My interpretation.

We can only see part of his body language. He overall pose struck me as high on nervous excitement, with a general lack of facial expression, but he had a small uncontrollable lop-sided smile at 8.10. when oncology is mentioned. He is so happy with his oncology work is how i would read that one. All a question of how you wish to read it ?

Awful in Southend today, I would have been shocked without being in lockdown, but in the middle of the day, as I witnessed some totally disgusting behaviour today along the seafront.
A man and a woman were arguing in front of a load of kids. Then the woman smacks him on the head so he hits her back and it all kicks off. The police turn up and the copper ends up using his baton on the man the man then actually gets the baton off the copper and uses it on the copper and the woman...... Shocking.

Then a crocodile turns up and eats all the sausages!

Thanx Bumpa, I think he does it in response to the question rather than when giving the answer so it could just be he finds that an awkward question rather than an untrustworthy response.... question is, why does he not like the question!!!!??

The ear grab refers to a subconscious desire to “hear no evil” and is done by reaching up and pulling the ear in response to, either hearing something disagreeable, or saying something disagreeable.

I've done very well out of AVCT (14p to 180p so far and still think it has 5 to 10 bags left in )

But 4D has I believe even more potential.

The way I'd size it is

AVCT's Affimer platform is a competitor to Antibodies in certain aspects so can get a chunk of the $100bn p.a. Antibodies market

DDDD's Microbiome platform is a competitor to the whole Pharmaceutical/Biotech market in certain aspects so can get a chunk of the $1000bn ($1 Trillion) p.a. market

I'd go so far as to say in 10 years 4D could be a FTSE100 stock alongside likes of GSK and AZN. The potential is that great.

POG - I guess we should get some TR1s next week so we can see how is shifting such a large holding? Perhaps it is one of the Russian billionaires topping up with some pocket change!

Sounds like you are having the same thoughts re: general market that I posted about a week or two ago. Lots of charts with similar rebound stories, but worried about another crash that doesn't recover like this one has? I was advised to go 50-50 into cash, but haven't done so yet.

My hope is that if we crash again and the recovery is not so strong, being positioned in more robust businesses with little/no debt should see those ones recover, even if the market as a whole does not bounce back the same - good companies shouldn't indiscriminately stay down for a long period if the results are good?

Wan just a few short positions left in AA. as far as I could see. I’m not fussed if there was, plenty of volume and still coming from a low base relative to performance; fairly low risk, could even be a snail stock and I like those.

The potential at 4D is enormous WAN. If it has success in just one of its current trials then it will be transformational for the company and for everyone suffering. It has been sold down to a price in the 50p's from 10 pounds. I only have a small position compared to AAZ but its potential is mind boggling. The seller/s must nearly be done. I will be adding more on monday myself after that interview. The reward far outweighs the risk for me :)

btw PTAL has since romped back, so I'd have been better off holding through it,,,, but, my approach worked for me in that I was ok taking the hit and moving on at the time I had to do so :-) LOL,,,, if you get my point,,,, cheers Wan :-)
