Thanks Mattjos for link to SPA note, it someway eases the lockdown frustration whilst waiting for progress on govt talks.
A little more detail but way short of the Hardman thoroughness in local knowledge and research. I’d call it a conservative guesstimate at best.

I have been a vocal critic of share price Angel in the past but today's note is much better - conservative realism. Like others, I am really looking forward to Hardman's take and the valuation approach.

Just enjoying a cold beer in the garden after spending all day in the sun trying to get the decal off the roof of my wife's mini with a heat gun. I have succeeded, the roofs a mess but my tan has come on leaps and bounds! Definetly a job for a professional.

Pogue, when I read the results statement I just thought 'I have to buy shares in this company'. They are a real picks and shovels sort of play and I honestly think there is a long way to go yet. The Smurfits will polish this up over the next two years and sell it on for who knows what. Some investors already talking about $50-100, considering that I bought in a very short time ago I have made amazing returns. Kind of brings me back to AAZ, I fell in love, stuck 15% of my portfolio in and it just sat there for the last 12 months looking at me. I have always been really bad at selling shares, the penny has finally dropped!

Dipped my toe in Excellon EXN looking for 90c - $1. Wished I’d seen it sooner and waited for a pullback too long.

Wan do you see any gaps in Victoria Gold VITFF? Sorely tempted to go back to another of last years favourites.

Re dividend cover / forecast. Whilst I hoped for 5c in July, I'm happy to see a steady increase year on year as suggested by the directors - a 'progressive' dividend.

Have to give AAZ credit, they paid 3c and 4c in the maiden year (well above people's expectations on here), and increased to 3.5 and 4.5 in year 2.

Therefore everything is pointing to 4c and 5c in year 3, especially with increased gold price. So that's 4c in October and 5c next July.

7.3 pence per share. 5.7% at today's closing price. Not predicted in SPA's note. But surely a better than 50:50 chance.

I think at least 0.5c and may even be another 1c
They're printing money and ironically, the bigger DIV will help push the share price up
its miller time 😁🍺

Looks odds on for the Hardman valuation at about £2.25 upwards.
The house broker would be seen by the Market as favoring the company, Next note will be even higher therefore should make the market take a closed look.

The ones who have been posting about Bill talking the company as plodding on....just remember Bill is an accountant and they only talk the figures they see.

The company will not plod on, It will put the foot on the accelerator, my advice his Put your seat belts on and enjoy the ride.
This club is going places.

I sold them at 48p from memory having held for a year from 72p down. At the same time the main shareholder, smurfitt, top sliced. A good lesson there: director sales aren't always a negative. Remember they put me off investing in SLP at around 18p as well.

Agree. Surely the interim has to be pushed up another 0.5c.
PoG is so much higher than last year that frankly only a declaration of “we’re spending 50m on “x” so keeping divi the same” will be seen as a reasonable reason not to increase, especially as they’ve talked about wanting a progressive dividend.

Not been paid the last one yet though. Plenty of time for stuff to become clear.

FCF (NCFO-Capex] $35-mn

$35mn *25% = $8.75mn

SPA say the divi bill [8c divi] will be 10mn; so AAZ won't be going much
over 25% payout guidence.
Even if they bump up by 0.5c for October divi. looks well covered.
