From the accounts for the year to 31st December we have a PE = 11.09 and with earnings
growth of 18.08%, the PEG = 0.61. But that is based on the share price at the end of the year, which was about 150p, much higher than that today. Even at that price at that time the share was a fabulous buy!

The current yield is approx. 5.7% at the current share price

We are now almost halfway through this year and the gold price has already risen substantially. It is now rising dramatically and tipped to rise much higher. Clearly the results for the current year could be astounding.

And so we have:
An income share that pays an ever-increasing, well-covered dividend.
A growth share with low PE and low PEG.
A company where a number of its' directors have a lot of skin in the game.
An ever-strengthening balance sheet, with cash reserves rapidly increasing and no debt....... Oh, and loads of more production and exploration possibilities.

Did someone say dont fight the FED? I reckon they are shooting themselves in the foot and all the printing and artificial low int rates have not created real wealth.

They are still kicking the can but have run out of road.

DOW rally fizzled out ... a few painful slow declining bear years over there now and recent crash lows will be breached but just not overnight.

Negative rates next for those clowns spurred on by the bloated orange tweeter .. only a matter of time as they desperately try to protect the Wall Street gang paper assets.

$1745 and the bid is still in limbo but they keep shuving the ask up, tight gits.7p spread, bloody rediculous. Make that %1747.
Not buy anything from China, that's going to be a miserable life then as 1/2 of what you have in your house will have made in China on it, even Philips have a lot made in China. Good luck to you on that one.

Got it on now. Absolutely must listen to understand the mechanics of buying/selling through market makers, what they do and how you can catch them out. WINS used to be the preeminent retail broker, along with Collins Stewart, SCAP, KBC etc. These days I’d say Cantors are the number one retail. Regardless, relationships with mm’s are a must as a trader, but still desirable as an investor. You don’t get that with the cheap providers. False economy, big time.


Edit: how many times does he specify the “quality of your broker”...!

With macro tailwinds and a rising price of gold, it is incredible we are not flying yet. Perhaps the strategy news, two broker notes and company presentation next week will disappoint. I think not!

Wan, could tell you many more, for a few years I had access to a holiday home up in the Grenadines, so often stayed in both. Tobago was great though until having kids tempered our travels, too much hassle and sadly my relatives passed away and the house was sold.

Remember flying out one year just after someone had blown up the parliament in Port of Spain, chaos! Was glad to get to Tobago and then charter a flight up to Union island, now flights there gave you a whole new perspective to flying, you come down like a stone.

Never mind the Covid thing, there's a small matter of the biggest, but unmentioned, banking crash ever, that has to be accommodated! But very convenient to have a virus scare upon which to place the blame. You could be correct Mattjos, that the gold price will surprise on the upside.

new ATH's for Gold in GBP, CHF, CNY, CAD etc etc

It was looking a good bet that Gold would go on to challenge $1,900 again long before we'd ever heard of CV-19 .. now, it's an inevitability that Gold will trade at multiple new ATH's in every fiat currency in the world, including the US$ .. & will take place quicker than most believe possible because, there is no way that the Fed or any other Central Bank has done enough yet to negate the effects of this crisis. There will be more QE coming down the pipe before we get to July, imo.

Yes, Gold creeping ever upwards as the USA/China trade war now moves back into the spotlight & there its likely to stay through to November.

It's a Chinese Virus & Trump/USA is going to keep the pressure well & truly on China all through the summer and into the winter.
They are really going to cop for it if the West experiences a second wave … expect the 'China is the villain' story to grow and grow as we tick the weeks off towards USA election

bleeps … I have absolutely no doubt (same as Steve, Reza, Farzhang etc) that Gedabek will still be a productive Gold & Copper mine long after we are all 6-foot under.

The potential is mind-boggling &, really, who better to keep mining and exploring there for years to come?
