CMB I glance at the other thread weekly aside from when a RNS is released. Plenty have alluded or picked up SPA are just a cheap option, purely down to not needing to fund raise.

Pretty rubbish one in my opinion but there is your reason for SPA still being around and I suspect low cost; maybe they are outgrowing their use.

all that top slicing now snaffled up just because folk seem so reliant on poor market analysis by a third party.
Do your own research! If you cant do that, just look at someuwin's graphic above.

Wan,I have sold Metro Bank Today. A profit is not a profit unless banked. I never intended it to be a long term hold,CEO loaning money to his wife,s firm, though he has agreed to stop doing that now!!Why start in the first place? You never know what these people hide from the shareholders. Nepotism on the quite.

AAZ will continue to give fruit, it may end up in the blue yet. They need to get rid of SpA.The PI,s seems to know more about the Co. then the broker!! Waste of money paying them IMO.
Just have to wait and see what the AGM produces.

Terropol,

We've all been there, but does 0.125p matter in the grand scheme of things...you'll be getting 25x this amount with the dividend in a matter of weeks?

When all is said and done, the results will continue to speak for themselves, cash generation grows, dividends grow, the cash pile grows, and if the NOMADS methodology results in allowing us to pick up some more shares that are undervalued, it's no bad thing is it..., this will play out over time.. :o)The guys that work for Spangle don't hold any extra market sensitive information than we do, is there anything stopping them picking up shares too.., how convenient ..?

Bleepy - that gives you and those that understand it an opportunity. Use it to your advantage.

There may also be another issue - it may well be that the Co. is keen to restrict awareness of various matters at this stage until, say, exploration output has been properly undertaken and ventilated. Thus, this may remove the prospect of enticement of bidders at this stage. Just throwing it out there, since the Co. are not particularly bothered by lackluster broker coverage. But, as I said previously, in this case, focus on the cash generated, improved balance sheet and exploration to come. Sp A view is just a unnecessary sideshow. Unless or until the financials, or exploration wheels come off, I won't sell. Until then, there is every reason to continue holding.

Let not perfect be the enemy of the good.

agree yasx .. its the cashflow that's important and we're throwing it off.

Without a need for equity finance, the company is not sharing every little wrinkle with the Nomad as most penniless juniors have to.

SP Angel have to provide some coverage for the company but, since their time is more profitably spent on the sell side of equity finance for the multitude of other small co's on AIM, that is where their efforts are going.

The reality here is that the company has little use for a Nomad other than to satisfy the listing rules and some advice on housekeeping.
It's not the usual dynamic but, I don't see the problem .. it's a strong sign the company is in rude health & getting on with that they do best.

Ordinarily it is not a good sign if the house broker is pessimistic in terms of outlook. But, I have an exception to the rule with AAZ since Sp A have been proven to be wrong re AAZ for as long as I can remember.

I this morning added to my position.

Re SpA generally, they are unjustifiably bullish on almost every other company they cover. Many had no prospects and they had targets several multiples of the price at the time of coverage.

I am invested in KRS which they cover - that stands at 0.32p - SpA have a target price of over 1p (which, incidentally, I think is appropriate in that case). But, they have ascribed lofty targets to other outfits which were nothing but duds.
