Mind you .. you just put $7m on a $30m company and kinda think 10% increase is rather stingy!

Mwwaa ha ha ha ha
Now 27.77p for 125k

lol

They have buyers but can't seem to find the stock

They're desperate to keep a lid on it for the buyer after hours. Unfortunately for him the rest of us want a slice too. We need the seller to let a few go for him :D

60p here.
Before the end of 2017.

You heard it here first.
Lets see if I'm any better than mr hockey :D

Oh and may I welcome the new posters to the thread. It's good to see some new names. We seem to have had quite a few the last couple of weeks (relative for this share admittedly - we ain't no UKOG or PVR... "thankfully" I hear you say). It seems the news is spreading albeit slowly, but so far to a slightly more sensible crowd.
Well done matt on keeping it focussed.

Nice work friendzarin.
The listed holders on the company website (those holding over 3% and/or members of the board) have just shy of 50m shares (49.7m shares = 43.7% of total)

Including your shareholding (which I've rounded to 1m admittedly) I know private holders which now total another 10m shares. Yes, ten million.

The float is decreasing rapidly as new longer term holders take up the stock realising what is going to happen here in the short and long term.

If you leave now, you've got to be lucky to get back in lower. Granted it can be done, jeanesy proved that, and nothing goes up in a straight line, but it'll be harder in the second half of the year as it's the good news half.

Following through on reading Matt's gem:

Has anyone looked into the q2 production stats with a view to seeing how the F->AL->SART process improved over the Q1 which were roughly half AL->F->SART set-up?

I just did.
Basically, the stats are very consistent with results claimed in the report Matt posted BUT there is a contextual consideration that I bring to your attention:
The gold feed grade for Q2 was ~14% higher than for Q1
There did seem to be a decided boost for copper !

For gold, it's worth noting that it's the higher grade ores that go through either the above processes; the low grades are simply heap leached but still generated about 35% of the gold produced.

So we have [F=Flotation, AL Agitation Leaching, S=SART, HL=Heap Leaching]:

GOLD Production k/oz:

Q1
1815F
5508AL
...5S
7328 Total Plant Gold output ...... Add 3750 HL gives Q1 grand total 11078.

Q2
3005F
4606AL
...4S
7625 Total PG ........ + 4525 HL => Q2 Grand total 12140.

Great so far!

Hmmm....
We have ORE production context:
Higher grade feed only; i.e. into the Plant process only, NOT HL:

Q1 184,074 tons; av. grade 1.52 g/t Multiply these => 279,792g input gold

Q2 179,454 tons; a g 1.77 g/t ...............=> 317,634 IG

So IG for Q1 was ~88% achieved for Q2.
Good in its way; arguably deflates the apparent productivity gain as suggested by the output comparison about.

I don't want to make too much of this input context and think we want to see the Q3 figures for which any niggles in the new process set up have been ironed out.

COPPER production - Tonnes

Q4/16 578

Q1/17 606

Q2/17 716

As the same ore input figures can be used as context, seems to me that AAZ produced
~15% more copper from ~3% less input ore. [I've assumed the HL ore didn't contribute].
Looks good to me :0)

Aren't AAZ talking about a likely shift towards ~50% revenues from copper by ~2020?

Delayed 70k... you are spot on Mattjos, take the stock while there is a seller feeding the market .

I am still hooveringIt's a common situation .. the traders don't want to use their firepower buying up the stock when there is a seller about .. they would rather take it just as the seller is cleared out, therefore being committed for the shortest possible time .. all good in theory but, as has been demonstrated here time & again, the MM's will simply shut-off online buying just when folk see it about to go up. You simply have to take them when there is a decent sized seller about.We are still some way off the herd arriving but, they will once 34p folds

Freindzarin .. it's the relatively small number of PI's here that are hoovering up the stock under 30p because we all believe it's cheap as chips whilst below that .. below 80p really

There still appears to be a seller here but, the MM's are at times paying more for loose stock during the day than the seller is supposedly willing to sell for in the auctions.Slow progress just now but, that stock offered in the auctions is gradually being eroded away. Once we get to 29p Bid, this will be ready for an explosive move, imo

Casabella Mattjos posted yesterday. Scroll back for news and discussion. Excellent research Mattj.This looks very promising for upcoming half year results and particularly for 2018 potential.Hopefully more exposure will now begin to take place on AAZ's potential outside of what appears to be a pretty narrow circle and we can begin to see some greater liquidity in re sales/buys.

Given the benefits from choice of process (FL-L or L-FL) to suit ore type, metal prices and demand, the new plant configuration be automated enabling either process to be flip flopped on demand.
