I didn't answer last time jbe, it's possible but only that. It's unlikely as matt said really.

They would only need to satisfy two people in all reality and so I can't see them needing to scratch around for a few million beforehand.

I bought in at 5p and still hold most of them. No harm in people selling imo. I'll be here at £1 jbravo just like I was here at 80p before.
Just remember we don't have a crystal ball and yes I believe it will go over a pound maybe even as high as £5 but it went to 80p then back to 3p before when. I held stock.
I sold then at 70 pence 40p and the rest at 15p before buying back at 5 pence.

I did ask about a week ago if anybody thought Azergold were buying shares in AAZ. Same question again

Last time Bill was presenting at one of these on 12 May the share price had recently just gone on its run to 12p ish. His graph although only a week old was horribly out of date showing nearly 8p. 50% rise not shown which he then referenced. Nice position to be in!

Hopefully this rise is far enough away to enable him to get a nice graph into his presentation in time

;D

Oh my post is a bit out of context now the post is removed. Never mind, I don't mind being a bit irrelevant. :)

unfortunately signs of the chimp brigade finally now trying to post here. They are welcome to use other threads but, I will be strictly enforcing the Ban and Moderate functionality since they had nothing of value to the discussions here

jbravo, £1 tomorrow, most would be happy, but if gold goes on a run there would be some regrets in the future. The company? Azergold?

lol

But seriously, no, it's not one of those big miners that would be interested in us. Not a chance.

Ok fair enough it was only a thought, any of the big miners, Anglo and Rio would be most likely, if We merged with Anglo American we could suggest new company name, they can use first word of there name and we will use second name of ours lol

If a bid did come it doesn't matter whether you'd accept or not. It would only matter what Messrs Vaziri and Sununu thought.
I can think of only one company that would be interested in us though.
For the record, yes I'd accept £1.

Oh and I'm the same as bsg. I generally buy round numbers.

I asked this question a few days ago but what if someone is trying to takeover? We know it's cheap, the potential is huge possibly billions? What if a late mining company is looking at this and rest of Azerbaijan assets? If they bid £1 tomorrow for these would we accept? They could pick this up for £100m, nothing in the bigger mining world, but they could throw a lot of money at it fast and get there money back very quickly, just a thought?

If you were a pi investing in this would you pick an amount ie £5000 or would you buy a number of shares eg 5000 shares? I ask the question as when I have looked at trades over last few days there are a lot of 5000 10000 15000 20000 and the odd 25000 share buys, me personally would pick a £ note value and end up with odd number of shares, more like stake building to me by one person or company, you can't buy a million at a time as it's too hard and to noticeable but you can buy regular small amounts, if I'm right they only bought last lot 10 mins ago

They moved up price quickly so it would look like its peaked to shake out some sellers, no trades took place, they are in need of stock for next leg, 2m shares traded, 7 times normal volume, this won't be over till start seeing 10m plus trades as then day traders will be playing

Profit taking inevitable short term; anyone in < 10p have made handsome gains and a profit isn't a profit and all that.
To make fresh highs it needs to consolidate in the low 20's and build fresh strength. Long term it should see £1+

highly geared

Best of luck to that money ilosthelot.
Can't see how you'll hold to £1 if you're selling some now, but hey, there will always be Resourceful's, yasX's and ilostthelots. All part of the game. And at least you've made a profit. Mine is still all theoretical gains...
but I'm happy continuing to make those larger theoretical gains.
Not one share... nowhere near yet. Not with the news yet to come over the next few months.

But then as you said to me back nearly a year a ago
"Your (sic) a brave man Jbravo."

That spike wasn't real as such, no trades exceeded 31p, that was shakeout and clearing a path, creates doubt in holders mind that it's slipping so you sell, play into mm hand, this should close circa 30-34, if it does expect 33-34 on open in morning

Even at 30-40p the potential exploration upside is not priced in. Just fair value for a producer based on a pe of about 4?

People bound to be taking profits, especially if in under .10p... that's what we're here for.

But not me.... I'm here for the much longer term.
