Are you having a laugh? You have to be the most nervous investor here.
Who was buying on 6 Apr while you presumably sat on your hands? Instead you limited yourself to having commented wisely on the fact that you thought buying might happen on that day.
Most long term holders I've seen on this thread have commented how they continue to buy but it seems as if you would prefer everyone buys on every day there is a penny drop. Stop wetting yourself and try to relax. This won't go up in a straight line but the results over the next year mean this will be multiples of this share price in a year.
Most people here I'd also guess have a job and can't watch the share price all day every day.
Tell you what why don't you tell us how many you've added the last 6 months?

Looks like an inevitable pause in trading before scheduled news.No reason for the MM's to have any better knowledge than we do as to what is in the update so, no reason for them to take a strong bias either way on the book hence, whatever buy/sell pressure existed today, determined the price.Shouldn't be much in the way of surprises in the update.Am just looking for confirmation that production rate is steadily improving as we enter the more prolific period. Debt repayments will be in schedule.Outwith the company news, we should very soon start to pick up news regarding how the old AIMROC assets will be repatriated to state control & then what happens next.With gold at its current price, every day that Chovdar sits idle, will be a growing frustration to all parties.Could be a very exciting period just ahead.

That was my point . There was no selling today in any sort of volume and yet we were marked down 6% . I think it was because the mm's wanted some cheap shares ahead of what we all hope and expect will be good H1 news.The volume today was very low and didn't warrant anywhere near that sort of drop. I even looked at trades on isdx and again virtually nothing. I will be surprised if the expected news does not arrive first thing .. we shall see soon enough. I have been adding on weakness, im surprised other long termers here haven't done so as well.

This spent a long time in the 5p - 7.5p range. There are lots of new investors that are in profit. It should not be surprising that some small traders are banking a few grand. I remember doing something similar with AYM several years back thinking I had done well with my 100% profit from 8p to 16p. I watched it multiply several more times after I sold peaking at 90p. Lesson learnt.

Any thoughts on today's price movement. Quite a drop on no volume. I think mm's wanted some cheap stock before next move up.

Back then peeps were looking at the 7m oz referenced in the IPO doc, and there was a bubble is gold mining stocks.

They have been up to 80p in the past without a 10 year production plan and the same number of shares in issue.

Brasso and AAZ are valued accordingly! If they announced a 10 year production plan at 70k/yr then this would rerate to 50p

Posters on here have been talking about the short mine life for 5+ years (2010) and every year AAZ increases production. They have not done much drilling but the increasing production tells the story. The Russians knew that there was a lot of gold in these hills.

I know crazy. I take on board zhockeys point about mine life etc. If from now a 10 year mine life was proved with only what we have now then WOW WOW lol. Debt reduction is now surely a priority not a problem anymore. GLA

So AAZ will be generating more in operational profits ($30m) from Q2 to Q3 than their current market cap ($27m)!!! WOW

$3150 per ounce! I think I will stick to Matt's prediction of $4000 if you don't mind. :)

I agree had most of what you're saying in the back of my mind. I'm hoping for something on the debt soon. A favourable restructuring announcement would be very welcome. I read a daily blog on a gold commentator from America. He has pretty much called it right so far this year. He is also uber bullish now on gold and silver. He has gold going to $3150 and he reckons silver to $195. I personally can't see it that high but you never know. I'm pretty sure though that gold is going quite a bit higher short term though.

I think $30m could be conservative though based on the following:-

- Q3 and Q4 are typically AAZs most productive months of the year.
- Gold looking bullish ($1300 - $1400).
- SAG mill coming online in H2.
- The second Manat devaluation in 2015 could bring costs below $700.

19,000 x 0.87 x ($1250 - $700) = $9m

If Q3 and Q4 see gold prices above $1300 then I think your $30m figure is good and your math is not awful!

19,000oz gold for Q2 based on the information already available for April and May via the Azerbaijan news websites. Silver should be similar to Q1 also.

With an average gold price around $1250 for Q2 and costs below $700/oz I expect the financial side to be more significant than the production numbers.

I can't believe these are still this cheap btw if anyone interested in in two others premier foods, at46.5 have not been this high since takeover bid and I'm really wondering if something coming and mmh just got in today but showing no trades, last time they had news they rose 40% within days from these levels I'm in both so make your own minds up
