07/10/2015 14:29 | The lower Manat like the Rouble will be great for costs like wages. HGM is doing great since the rouble fell. The difference here was Bash who had a detrimental effect on AAZ with the constant overhang putting a over bearing weight on the stock, keeping it down. I expect investors will come back now the overhang is gone, along with better fundamentals it's all to go for. This is a chance to take advantage of what is really an anomaly the mkt has yet to value correctly due to the constant erosion by bash. Paying down the debt will surely transfer to the mkt cap at some point, when you only have just over a £6m mkt cap and only 112,661,024 shares in issue it won't take much to move it. | celeritas
06/10/2015 22:52 | Tbh I'd be happy if it went up 1000% in a day | webshares
06/10/2015 22:01 | mattjos: maybe just a steadily growing flock instead of a herd. | cordwainer
06/10/2015 19:55 | obviously if you want to buy more if the share price stays this low that is great too. | jbe81
06/10/2015 19:53 | Cant agree Matt! The herd and the chance to trade has its advantages makes no difference to aaz's long term prospects. For the people who have been here as long as you if the share price spikes short term it isn't really important, the value is in a 2 to 5 year period. If the herd doesn't arrive then doesn't matter either. | jbe81
06/10/2015 19:37 | Steady, steady for me please ... Just chug away every month back towards IPO price. We DO NOT want the herd here please! No leader board rises. Just steady Eddie away and under the radar. May we all agree please? | mattjos
06/10/2015 19:28 | Yes, if gold should go on a run back towards $2000 in the next 12-24 months then this share could be pushing through 200p IMO... obviously a big IF there... but we can have dreams can't we :-) | cyberbub
06/10/2015 19:22 | timescale wll come down to price of gold, AAZ has everything else covered | jbe81
06/10/2015 19:08 | Brasso, I don't think we'll get an update on costs. It's usually only a half year and year that we get info on costs I think. We will get an update on debt. Clearly we might still be paying bills on the plant til yr end so we'll see what impact that has but net debt should still be down. Matt, it will be interesting times! I'd settle for a 100m company in twice that timescale | jbravo2
06/10/2015 18:35 | Jb .. I agree & look forward to watching a $150m company evolve over the coming 18 months. I winder if anyone will ever find out what sort of a hole Bashirov got himself into | mattjos
06/10/2015 18:01 | 1 week until Q3 results. I wonder what the operating costs will be down to this quarter. I will take a guess at $700 per ounce. | brasso3
06/10/2015 17:52 | and my floating brain was able to concentrate for the last time more than 20 years ago. | cordwainer
06/10/2015 17:16 | Some good trades the last couple of days and good to see boros back and interested. This is a steal boros! There will always be sellers, and we'll see a lot of them as we move up through the 10's and into the 20's so don't sweat it folks. If they miss out cord, they miss out. Some won't be able to resist bagging smaller profits. Fair enough I say. It's impossible to convince everyone of the logic of where this is headed. Matt, trust me, the flotation plant produced concentrate for the first time more than 2 weeks ago. | jbravo2
06/10/2015 16:53 | 6p came a bit quicker than i thought. Next points on the chart are the noise from the last spike at 6.5p and 7.5p then clean air. | brasso3
06/10/2015 14:26 | cheap to buy, gold making another move up | jbe81
06/10/2015 14:05 | if you have a look carefully at the flotation plant images .. some were shot back on 10 June. No reason why it is not now completed and running through those agitation tailings | mattjos
06/10/2015 14:03 | I have just bed and ISAed 160k shares, not showing yet, just in case anyone sees the trades and gets worried! | cyberbub
06/10/2015 13:43 | Gold gagging to have a run | mattjos
06/10/2015 13:24 | Yep does look like a sticking point cyber but as you said they can only sell once, I prefer the gradual rises before the spike which I do see in the coming weeks. Trade on the hotMoney and then let the rest ride over the coming years, as long as gold doesn't fall off a cliff this should be a profitable company and eventually a dividend company. | webshares
06/10/2015 13:10 | those impatient enough to sell now are missing out on a rally to at least 15p between now and January, imho. | cordwainer
06/10/2015 11:37 | Hmm... dummy trading shows that the price has in fact weakened a bit. We still seem to be struggling to get through 6.5p, as was the case on the big volume days recently. Someone must still be selling... no matter, they can only sell once! | cyberbub
06/10/2015 11:34 | Bid has dropped to 5.75 - hard to see why, unless they are trying to frighten out a few sellers? | cyberbub
06/10/2015 11:24 | 6.5p is still a bargain!! | jbe81
06/10/2015 11:19 | "Trade their stack" - sounds a bit rude LOL | cyberbub
06/10/2015 11:13 | looks like folk will have to look to trade their stack now if they want to increase their holding. The bargain stock has gone now | mattjos |
