The season for the gold bulls to shine. Gold generally finds strength through early- to mid-September prior to the Indian weddings October - December.

Global events have a head start on the Indian wedding season it seems by some weeks, expecting demand to remain strong and continue setting all time highs.

As nice as it is to see the share price reaching higher levels, it's yet to exceed levels not seen since last November whilst gold reaches an ATH. Dividends aside, is there any other gold producer that performed worse than AAZ during that period?

Wouldn’t want all my money in any asset class right now, best to be spread wide, not solely focussed on markets, some cash maybe not all the same currency, some property or producing assets if you’re lucky enough, some physical insurance etc.

The world is pretty unpredictable but some bold calls will be right and they will be the next after the event talking heads next time around.

The dynamic of a ‘crash’ is a flight to liquidity - always has been, always will - your answer lies there. What happens in the aftermath is another matter.

I can't see it reversing just yet - they haven't even started the short squeeze and we have entered new highs.

as exciting as the Gold price action is, I expect to see a reversal candlestick print around Wednesday this week (+/- 1 day)
It's come too far, too fast for my liking & all the commentary is bullish and calling for crazy higher prices as if they will arrive in days.
July contract ends on 29th also.

I would really much rather it started consolidating this move over $1,800 now.

In the long term, it will be so much better for investors in AAZ and other gold miners, if Gold takes its time to reach $2,500 - $2,700 .. like another 3-5 years please.
3-5 years of strong profits and cash-flow will ensure AAZ is in the best possible position to do justice to the new JV with Conroy in Ireland & to keep rewarding investors with its progressive dividend policy

The writing was on the wall for the Fed clowns 9 years ago ... but then they had room to move on rates and print until they convinced the market they had saved the day.

This time rates are zero so only USD Dollar Andrex printing and the USD Index is telling you it's over.

BTC touched the key $10,400 level today. When that breaks it will be time to go all in IMO.

Interesting change of tone on Bloomberg and CNBC today. Lots more coverage of gold, pretty much exclusively as the alternative to stocks.Fed meeting only going to exacerbate that - nothing coming from that is going to strengthen the solar. Not difficult to see how a mania phase can quickly materialise.

Despite Gold's rise this year and particularly the last few months, amazingly it is fascinating that only 0.5% of global financial assets are invested in precious metals.

So we are nowhere near any mania phase .. this bull run has years to run

IMHO
