26/7/2020 15:25 | Thanks Matt that is helpful to read and helps alleviate doubts. Awkward moment when I'm a shareholder here for the long run so no need for the harsh words please ha. I'm a little peturbed by the ramping on other mediums (there is not much of that here). I missed off a question mark on the end of my last post which changes the tone. Sorry for confusion | ![]() dan_the_epic

26/7/2020 10:40 | Mmmm..... lets see .... have to admit I'm thawing a bit myself. There was even an article on Stocko by Jack Brumby highlighting the deal and stating he thinks AAZ's share price should be over 200p. More interested in the moment in the exploration update to be published in the coming week - which I have high hopes for. (Please, just for once, put a positive spin on it AAZ) GLA | ![]() podgyted
26/7/2020 09:19 | Money talks,You can have the best idea in the world, but if you don't have the money that is all it will ever be,an idea. I would not buy any stock in Conrad until they have had a placing which is bound to happen soon. AIMO. | ![]() gold finger 1
25/7/2020 17:34 | Matt: Thanks for posting your research on the CGNR JV. I was initially skeptical but am coming round. Should have known Reza and the team knew what they were doing! :-) | ![]() walter walcarpets
25/7/2020 17:26 | I'm quite sure AAZ wont be selling bozzy. They will mine this. I believe people will be surprised just how many people in academia, Geologists & other gold mining companies will now be very tuned in to the AAZ-funded drills on the Longford-Massif. Rio Tinto were poking about in this area in the 1950's The academic discussions as to Murray's theories in his PhD thesis have gone on for years and years after his papers were originally published. Thus far, it seems to only have been Prof. Conroy who has persevered.Proof that he was right will have wide ranging implications. I'm sure there are plenty of other areas in the world similarly waiting the drill but, this one is going to be very, very keenly followed. The situation is so very similar to the Gedabek contract area in that there is some data but, it's never been properly tested with modern technology & a decent chunk of money. The drill results alone in Ireland could have significant impact on AAZ valuation when they start to emerge, let alone Gold over $1,900 when that occurs later this year. It is going to be a very, very excting next 12 months here :-) | ![]() mattjos

25/7/2020 16:27 | Yes a gap and it will need to place shares at some point probably. | ![]() jeanesy
25/7/2020 16:24 | CGNR - might be a good move jeanesy,,, who knows,,, but, there is the GAP to consider, so maybe we'll see it get back to 15p, maybe not LOL,,, cheers Wan :-) free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | wanobi
25/7/2020 16:06 | My own for opinion whatever it is worth, in an Irish context John Sununu's political connections may in fact be a lot more useful than Conroy's. If government needed a nudge to overcome opposition/permits/p | scandahooligan
25/7/2020 16:00 | Well done Jaspoland and Michael Broom Smith. A far better attempt than mine at calculating AAZ's current / future profitability. We're all in agreement, whether gold is $1800 or $2000, AAZ is underpriced for its Gedabek operation alone. Edit - nice to read Matt's post 38079. My initial response wasn't quite so negative. The headline of 500k oz JORC'd at 2g/t meant there was something to work for. But I was surprised. Don't think anyone here expected an Irish JV! Jeanesy - yes I'm strongly of that opinion. CGNR has let down shareholders for two decades. So of course there are unhappy anti-Prof Conroy people on their BB. But they have gold in the ground which is becoming more valuable by the day. And they now have a fully-funded high-quality JV partner. They've managed to survive until now. Now they'll begin to reap the rewards. As has been suggested on here, I'd expect the JV team to copy the GGP / SOLG model. Prove up (hopefully) millions of ozs of reserves. Then sell it off before production. In that scenario CGNR and AAZ both win. But CGNR is more leveraged. I'm hoping for a life-changing re-rating from the current £4.7m market cap. | ![]() bozzy_s
25/7/2020 15:32 | sorry, no idea at this stage mf. Suggest folk read this Conroy presentation …. Page 13 in particular: | ![]() mattjos
25/7/2020 15:24 | AAZ - Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
25/7/2020 15:14 | Jeanesy I've been thinking the same thing. Worth having a holding in CGNR at some point imho. AAZ getting more attention after this deal which is no bad thing. | ![]() jaspoland
25/7/2020 15:11 | IF AAZ get the drill data that seems to be entirely feasible then, I believe it will actually start a mini-Goldrush into this part of the world & to the other end of the terrane in Scotland. Scotgold, Erris Resources. Are there others active in these areas please? Might be worth watching their exploration newsflow | ![]() mattjos
25/7/2020 15:01 | Yes very good case put forward, convinced me after initial doubt it had rose too quick a few weeks back and was wary of the spike. | ![]() riggerbeautz |
