19/6/2020 07:05 | I just do not see how CCL can turn profits going through 2021. Why would anyone ovre 60 years of age want to book a cruise anytime soon? Even if there were massive discounts on tickets I still cannot see it competing with standard package holidays in the short term. Then there is the medical insurance issue. Who will want to be picking up that tab? | ![]() brasso3

18/6/2020 20:12 | HGM Gold and a divi till the gold price goes up. From the BB. Reasons to be cheerful if you hold this stock. HGM are now only a few days from accessing the higher-grade gold in H2 :-) Kekura mine which once fully commissioned in 2022 will add another 172koz pa. @$1700 pog this is $292million pa extra :-) I see that HGM is now the highest ranking metals and mining company according to Stockopedia with an overall rank of 99 out of 100 :-) Only one stock in the market (WYN) is rated higher at 100/100. Assuming they meet forecasts of 300k gold and get $1650 per oz, that puts rev up by 25% on last year $495m vs $395m and profit up by $100m to $277m - should take the yield to 10.5% from a quarter of FCF at current share price (2.26) so expect this can get to £3 and still yield the 7% on offer today. PE of less than 4 for this year as well on the basis of above. Looks like HGM has been incorrectly priced by the market or me. Just some notes Avergage gold price $1630 this year vs $1393 for 2019 Rouble devalued significanly against dollar and pound in 2020 1st Qtr rns HIGHLAND GOLD MEETS FIRST QUARTER PRODUCTION FORECASTS (Sharecast News) - Highland Gold Mining reported its operating results for the three months ended 31 March on Wednesday, saying its four operating mines produced a total of 63,482 ounces of gold and gold equivalent in the first quarter, in line with its production forecasts, and down from 71,961 ounces year-on-year. The AIM-traded firm said production and sales were unaffected by the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, as mine shifts were extended until 1 June and travel was restricted in order to protect its remote operations and nearby communities. It said the average realised gold price for the quarter was $1,593 per ounce. At Kekura, the company said that the pilot processing plant conducted its first gold pour in March, while preparations for summer construction continued with equipment, materials and supplies shipped to site over winter roads, and construction crews already on location. Production at Mnogovershinnoye exceeded targets for the quarter, as open-pit mining was reduced and stripping ramped up to prepare to access new high-grade ore zones in the third and fourth quarters. Scheduled maintenance at the Belaya Gora processing plant, initially planned for April and May, was brought forward to March, the board noted. It also said that Novoshirokinskoye gold equivalent production was 5% higher than forecasts, despite expected lower grades, while Valunisty saw Increased mining and processing volumes, but lower grades, during the quarter. "To lock in lower interest rates, the company drew down $60m in long-term debt from open credit lines in March at an average interest rate of 3.36%, bringing gross debt to $326m and net debt to $254m as of 31 March," the board said in its statement. "The net debt-to-EBITDA ratio remains comfortable at 1.2x, and additional open credit lines worth $340m are available." Highland noted that Michael Monaghan joined the company in March as its chief operating officer, bringing with him more than four decades of experience in the industry. "The company affirms its guidance for total production of [between] 290,000 and 300,000 ounces of gold and gold equivalent in 2020." | ![]() 11_percent

18/6/2020 16:24 | Hi Wan this has to within the top 2 threads with Chipperfield gold thread on advfn. Plenty of great ideas of different company. I congratulate you on running it so efficiently. I have had my account since Oct 2006 and I think this is the thread I have posted most on in all those years. Anyway I think I will take a break and will not post on any thread again for at least a few months. Hope everyone becomes rich with AVCT. I will hold until we get proper news good or bad. I think the markets will head down soon so will be going into cash. Will sell most of my shares and just let profits run. Wan If you are looking into buying gold coins send a private message and will give you a good link. Best of luck all. | ![]() kickingking

18/6/2020 15:29 | Yes Wan, I said I’d not labour it, it’s a decent small tuck away for me, one of two with JAN I’ve got. Think I’ll ditch FDBK too much hot air about Bleepa; may give it another couple of months though as practically a free ride now. These are all now relatively small holds for me. | ![]() riggerbeautz

18/6/2020 14:53 | Wan - the fraud at Wirecard was astounding, not least because it was so sodding obvious. There will be major repercussions for this, with the directors clearly, but also the auditors, Bafin the German regulators and also the Munich prosecutors office. This is probably the end for Wirecard, their reputation is smashed, they won’t be able to borrow and I suspect their business partners, Visa etc will all pull the plug - whether there is any residual value is debatable. This is just the start though for the story to unfold. | ![]() bumpa33
