BTC gearing up for the 5th attempt at $10k.

On my chart BTC is now above the 3 year downtrend. ARB has woken up again.

No problem Wan. When I get excited by something, I become an enthusiast, and I have enthusiasm today for PXC. They have promised a whole series of RNS's through summer and autumn, starting from mid to end June, so please do keep watching them. I feel it's like the mission to the moon. The early days you see a whole load of money being spent, but everyone involved has enthusiasm. Then you go through the middle spell, when the money is still disappearing, but the results are not there yet. But there are now doubters hovering around the edges, and you have to come out with positive messages, and positive research to keep those doubters at bay. I feel we've now launched our first Saturn V, and it's worked. We're about to try the first ones round the moon to test everything out, but the science is good, and has been tested. The doubters are still there, but decreasing. Now we've got to get the public enthused, and once they're on board, there'll be nothing stopping us. Nothing. We reach the moon at the end of next year!

This is the most important trial result for COVID-19 so far. Significiant reduction in mortality in those requiring oxygen or ventilation from a widely available, safe and well known drug. Many thanks to those who took part and made it happen. It will save lives around the world.

The NIHR-supported RECOVERY trial has shown that dexamethasone, a steroid, significantly reduces the risk of dying from #COVID19 for seriously ill patients requiring respiratory intervention - a major breakthrough

Coronavirus: 'Major breakthrough' as UK scientists find £5 steroid cuts COVID-19 deaths - The drug, dexamethasone, reduced death rates by a third for patients on ventilators, and by a fifth for patients needing oxygen.

Martin Landray, an Oxford University professor who is co-leading the trial, said: "This is a result that shows that if patients who have COVID-19 and are on ventilators or are on oxygen are given dexamethasone, it will save lives, and it will do so at a remarkably low cost.

It's been around for probably 60 years.

Good news for mankind :-)

Cheers
Wan :-)

PetroTal Corp - Today’s 2019 results have been somewhat overtaken by events, its recent raise and restructuring of the contractual liabilities have taken centre stage. Having said that these figures show what a good year 2019 was for PetroTal with excellent growth through operational excellence.

Production rose 431% to exit the year at 13,300 bopd and a hugely successful drilling programme was completed and of course the new CPF and oil storage tank were completed on time and ahead of budget. The company earned net income of $18.2 million ($0.03 per share basic) compared to a net loss of $2.2 million in Q4 2018 with a higher operating net back of $28.6 million compared to $2.3 million in Q4 2018.

For Q4 2019 the Company recognized funds flow generated of $22.2 million, as compared to utilisation of negative $1.9 million in Q4 2018 and achieved a record quarterly oil production of 7,767 bopd, an increase of 670% over Q4 2018 (1,158 bopd), and an increase of 63% over Q3 2019 (4,760 bopd). Finally, Q4 2019 sales volumes averaged 9,509 bopd compared to 1,199 bopd in Q4 2018 on capital expenditures of $26.9 million in Q4 2019 compared to $4.4 million in Q4 2018.

As I said at the top, current management is concentrating on the liability situation but with the raise and expression of market confidence and restructured financing I believe that a recovery in the share price is on the cards.

Touchstone Exploration - Yesterday Touchstone announced final testing data and analysis which confirms the ‘tremendous217; potential of Cascadura-1ST1 discovery. The low drawdown at the surface along with high reservoir pressure ‘suggest a sizeable reservoir with excellent production potential’.

We can expect an independent reserves evaluation in July when the company is expected to drill the Chinook prospect, a separate structure but on the same geological trend.

I happen to think that the market is yet to appreciate the full potential of this discovery and that the current £65m market cap could be dwarfed by success here and certainly if Chinook was to come in.

Finally this morning the company announced that, that having satisfied conditions precedent, it was using the recent US $20m Republic Bank loan and withdrawing US15m to satisfy obligations relating to prepaying the Company’s former C$15m of the $20m credit facility. Touchstone has the option to withdraw the remaining US$5m available balance prior to June 15 2021.

This C$ loan has always been one of the few problems I ever had with Touchstone, it is good to see it being repaid and should the company have more success with the drill bit they might be paying it off rather than drawing down the remainder.

re Bumpa find on EVG

I don't think these clinical trial announcements will have as much effect as they would have had a few months back. Covid story has moved on.

However this should be good read across for C4XD who have their own NRF2 pathway molecule and an existing relationship with LifeARC

Bumpa often gets busy CMB as we all do one way or another, or takes time outs, he’s around.

Myself I’ve never had so much time on my hands, so I have to find things to do after awhile or the missus notices and sets me on domestic projects! Curse these travel bans and crowd shutdowns, can barely escape her these days lol

Anyway Bumpa has just got an A star for his detective work. EVG is likely going to pop, already moving on his find, take a ;)

How much more before even more people seek the safety of Gold?
At some point Gold is going to go on its next run through $1,750

Good morning all.
The other day I posted that I wrote an email to share price Angel regarding the spread on AAZ shares and that they should sort things out. Anyway this morning I got an email from Bill Morgan. I will post

I refer to your email to Jeff regarding the spread on share dealing in AAZ’s shares.

S P Angel passed me your email as they have a policy of not communicating with shareholders

unless they are also S P Angel clients.

This issue is something we have become increasingly aware of from comments on bulletin boards

and other feedback from shareholders. It is something we are looking into and soon as we have

any positive developments – obviously we will let everybody know.

kind regards

Bill Morgan

Echo that mf. For plenty of reasons, other than I expect a relatively modest fee, SPA from what I can see do limited promotion for AAZ. Many have suggested before, wonder what promotional activity we would get from a broker, if we were plying high fees for share issues like confetti. Maybe we need to pay a bit more to get the message out too, still won’t help the relatively small free float though.
