indeed cmb, AMC as you know has enormous potential,,,, so, to me, when it starts to move many investors don't want to miss out on a potentially life changing move to the upside, hence they pile in and we get these spikes, sometime smaller (green), others larger (pink), so who's to say we cannot get a repeat of this pattern (blue) or at least part of it :-),,,,, and if there is something real behind it, then,,, off we go :-) GLA holders,,,, cheers Wan :-)

Ah' Wan that chart is starting to look interesting.
I don't usually post about AMC as I don't have confidence in the BoD.
I have lost faith in RY.

I am going to enjoy a nice cool beer at the bar tomorrow in the mean time I have the cartons of Cape Elephant to start with. Cyprus has the hottest May this year. I am not complaining though.
ATB.

Oh' Solis from the main thread is a large holder of AMC. I have not heard from him for a while. I hope he is well.

PTAL - may I say a very well done to those who kept holding through the shutdown, so far :-) I bottled it and sold out and now regret it somewhat :-) LOL oh well, tis the nature of the game Wan :-) LOL,,,, seriously though, well done to you all,,, I kind of knew when someone was willing to take 250K lumps, online,,, that it was too easy to sell and therefore the wrong thing to do at my sell price,,, but there we go,,, we live and learn,,,, lesson learned :-),,,, will have to buy back now at a higher price,,, doh!!! Cheers Wan :-)

when it comes to AMC Mj, cmb is your man,,, he's been on the journey for a long long time and knows the history inside out :-)

AAZ - very nice to see it finish on a high today :-)

CNG - I guess it'll be the results that trigger interest there :-) by the looks of it anyhow LOL :-)

ALTN - have you ever cast your expert mining brain over the prospects there Mj ??

I recall your previous dis-interest came from the number of shares in issue and fully understand that,,,, but, it might be worth a few mins of your time Mj to look at the opportunity.... I know, I know, a little cheeky of me to ask you to do my research,,, but, no doubt you are much better at it than me :-)

Cheers Wan :-)

The total cost to fully develop this Nickel Sulphide resource with own Smelter will cost in the region of
$800 Million. There is an electric main line at the BAM railway station. The Flash Smelter can be built there.
The main resource is Nickel Sulphide and Copper. The by products of mining Nickel are Platinum ,Pladium and Cobalt, small amounts of gold and silver as well.
If a third party Smelter is used then the third party keeps these PM's.
There was talk of separating Nickel and Copper. Creat a concentrate of Copper and transport it to a third party Smelter.
To do this for a couple of years until own Smelter was built. I suppose to keep the development costs down.
Oh' the bridge over the river Amur is completed now. The railway line will connect Amur region to China.

3) The AMC resource Kun Mani is in the Amur region of Russia. The nearest BAM railway station is 300 KM from the resource. A road has to be built to get to the resource, there is a rough road half way used for forestry.
12 bridges/culverts have to be built in the completion of this road.
The Russians have agreed to give low cost finance to build this road. I think AMC/ or other Co will have to prove to the Russians that they can develop this mine before any loan is given.
The Russians may give certain grant's as well.

From SPA Morning update:

Gold miners – Operating margins take off as costs fall while gold prices rise

• Operating margins for gold miners have taken off as costs fall and gold prices rise
• Many gold miners that were struggling to make ends meet at $1,100-1,200/oz gold have seen costs plummet
• Collapsed local currencies combined with a very substantial fall in oil prices has cut costs particularly for open cast miners.
• Reagents which are often derived from oil should also be cheaper.
• Margins in many cases have multiplied from <$100 oz="" to="">$500/oz.
• Gold prices are looking relatively solid at $1,730/oz for now

SP Angel recommended:

Producers:

• Anglo Asian Mining - consistent gold production from the Gedabey gold mine in Azerbaijan
• Chaarat Gold - growth focused FSU producer
• Rambler Metals and Mining - gold with copper production at the Ming gold mine

Developers:

• Scotgold - Scotgold is building Scotland’s first modern gold mine with production due within months depending on lockdown restrictions
• Kefi Minerals – Tulu Kapi project in Ethopia
• Condor Gold - preparing for project development in Nicaragua
• SolGold - 22moz of gold in Alpala project in Ecuador. The project is under evaluation and is backed by Newcrest and BHP Billiton.

Explorers:

• Altus Strategies – around 1moz of gold resource across a number of propspects
• Cora Gold - exploring in Mali along from Yanfolila Gold Mine Humminbirds
• Empire Metals - gold cap at Kvemo Bolnisi project overlying larger copper resource

AMC is working on a TEO at the moment.
TEO the Russian version is equivalent to Western DFS. It is supposed to be finished before the end of this year.
Not too long ago Mr. Thomas Bowen was appointed to the BoD. He was the CEO of IG Copper,it was a large Copper discovery in the Amur region where AMC discovery is.
He sold that discovery to a Russian Co. for $200 Million.
Mr. Bowen has spent $160K buying shares in AMC close to 2P a share.
Robin Young the CEO and members of the BoD have bought shares in AMC as well.
I think RY spent £85K and paid around 1.8P a share and some members of the BoD
did the same Paul Mcay spent £65K.
I am bit unsure exactly of the price
paid by everyone. Please you can conferm
this by a bit of DYOR.
Appologise for that.

So far the yanks are doing really well keeping the banking crash out of the public eye. It's that covid19 that's to blame! I guess when they sell gold short, then at some time or other they have to cover that short, if I were china I'd be making it as expensive as possible.
