MCRO - many thanx Mr.R,,,, that's one for KS as I can't see past the headline "Micro Focus expects to report revenue of approximately $1.45bn for the first half, which represents a decline of approximately 11% on a constant currency basis when compared to the six months ended 30 April 2019." LOL, Cheers Wan :-) GLA Holders

Good morning all.
Wan yes very good news re Kerala. Do you know that people in Kerala are the most educated in India % vias. It is also a very beautiful place to have a holiday in. They have large rowing boat races. Mostly vegetarian people hence lowest heart disease in the population.
They also have a lot of working
elephants. Full of Hindu temples etc.
LOL not many placeses in India that I have not visited in the past years.
I spoke on a video call with my adapted daughter yesterday. She is a doctor as I think you know. She has moved to Hematchel Pardes for the time being.

Back to the market. My PUR shares have risen to around 60P. :0).

Investing in Gold miners - some risks to be considered - GLA, Cheers Wan :-)

I actually felt more comfortable with my AAZ holding after listening :-)

With most countries' balance sheets stretched and gold prices rising, miners next worry may be holding onto their revenues said Remi Piet, senior director at Americas Market Intelligence.

Piet's firm has forecast gold hitting $2,000, which he said will create more security problems for miners. Criminal gangs will target mining operations. The other worry is the governments themselves.

"There is a temptation to raise royalties," said Piet who warns that miners must understand the country dynamics where they operate and who they can trust.

ANTO cuts dividend

the Board has decided it would be prudent to conserve cash in the Company by revising its 2019 final dividend recommendation to 7.1 cents per ordinary share (or a total of $70.0 million). This represents a reduction of 16.3 cents per share (or a total of $160.7 million) from the previous recommendation.

AVCT

On Friday we had a Spinning Top candle formation (apparently a sign of indecision and potentially reversal of a trend)

However the following days candle is meant to determine the true relevance of the Spinning Top

Today's nice solid candle (on now news) thus acts a confirmatory signal of Bullish pattern continuation

We are pregnant with possibilities in terms of next blockbuster news so I fully expect us to gap up and through this 140-160p multi-year resistance area and go on to 300-500p in pretty short order

Wan - not necessarily the wrong decision for you to bail out of PTAL. It has only bounced back a little due to the oil price rebounding somewhat (and hence reducing the contingent liability potentially).

Any accounting questions you can ask away and I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge/capabilities. I am a qualified accountant, and would consider myself to be reasonably competent, but it is a broad profession with different specialisms and different treatments applicable to different industries, though core principles apply. I am still learning about different things outside of work as I am dealing with the same things in the day job, generally.

TXP - I guess some funds have to sell holdings regardless of company prospects. I would like more TXP but I can see the price getting away shortly.

Bumpa yes I’m happy to be patient there with a bit of a cushion and yes I saw those trades just before heading off on a bike ride and no they’re not retail.

Wan patience again, to be fair AA. are churning over big volumes, the dilemma will be whether they want fully out? Will let it come to me rather than chase it. If I miss it so be it. I’m quite relaxed with things at the minute and not chasing too many rainbows.
