07/6/2019 08:22 | Yes it's inevitable. Less than 2 weeks away from the AGM and what I'm sure will be some good news. Up up up and away. Closest thing you can find in the stock market to a sure thing. | jbravo2
07/6/2019 08:13 | cmb, I would like to pick you up on one point and that's the question of luck :-) LOL,,, yes I was fortunate to stumble across AAZ and all you good people,,, but, it was down to me in the first place to start down this road and spend time researching and so on to achieve that.... so, I feel I made my own luck there :-) cheers Wan | wanobi
07/6/2019 08:11 | Great to see the bid finally over 100p.., holding up into the close would be a cracking end to an already good week.. Well done all holders, specially the LTH's with averages of 20/30/40p, the dividend yield on those will really make you smile..:o) ExDiv 27.06.2019 | laurence llewelyn binliner
07/6/2019 08:06 | Reckon aaz finishes between 105-110p today | mr roper
07/6/2019 08:05 | thanx cmb, as always I respect your views/experience greatly,,, perhaps my posts sometimes come across the wrong way, I'm very happy with my LT investments right now.. Yes, agreed, early on I decided to be a LT investor, well 3-5 years anyhow :-) whilst trying to learn from you guys and the situations you present on here (which is very helpful to me, so please keep it up guys, thanx).. the main reason I don't act upon these things at the moment is time, I work a full week, so I cannot be watching or more importantly act upon situations, going long/short on a short term basis and being at my screen ready to sell something at the right time to bank a profit etc... so yes, if you like I am looking for jam tomorrow, the plan is for the pension pot to peak in 3-5 years time :-)….. well that's the plan anyhow,,, and we all know what happens when we plan in life :-) LOL also, I haven't got a broker yet to do those things, I have a SIPP with HL and that's it for now,,,, I tried IG for trading but found that mostly they wont let you bet in the direction of least resistance, hence useless so I gave up with them :-) LOL I'm in no hurry cmb, I'm earning a reasonable whack and hopefully adding to that by doing what I do here, now.... could I do better, yes, most certainly, I hope, but there are other things to enjoy in life too and I have to find some balance :-) To me, this is about adding pension years and reducing working years,,,, but, so far it's all on paper :-) LOL, YIKES :-) sitting on my hands,,,,, I do find it tough, I do get tempted by all the noise and so on,,,, but I sit, I apply self discipline & I watch and learn for now :-) as for gambling, I hope I am not doing too much of that, although right now TXP looks like a binary bet on the next drill with the POO falling so much recently :-) LOL - hopefully PB with all his teams new technology wont miss the pay load and all will be well... Good morning all, good luck today :-) a very happy Wan Cheers :-) | wanobi
07/6/2019 08:03 | BIDS keeps going, as I said reminds me of VRS | jbe81
06/6/2019 23:37 | just checked Gold in AUD .. broke to ATH's at start of June. Now AUD$1,914/oz. The Aussie Gold Hunters are going to be going mad for it. Very few remaining currencies in which POG has not now completely broken out. Just looks to me like fiat currency is going down the drain across the world | mattjos
06/6/2019 21:25 | Lefrene, Mad Foetus beat me to it I believe that hes referring to the Pulp song Common People. MJ those figures are incredible with regards to the yields. I've got a little more money coming my way soon, I was a bit unsure about placing it in AAZ but from looks of your comments, many other posters comments and the acconts I think I'm going to buy more. | spidertricks
06/6/2019 19:39 | i have a total of 30c dividend pencilled in for 2020, 2021 & 2022. something between 20-25p payable to shareholders so, buying now and holding for that timeframe could result in a 20-25% Yield with very realistic chance of 2-4x capital appreciation. Crystal-ball stuff, I accept but, so far, so good over the last 4 years. Chart is still a nice staircase pointing the way forward and validating criteria time and again & the company is delivering again and again & finally we are really getting close to proving up the old Russian data to modern standards. Can we make a £500m mkt cap? I believe so | mattjos
06/6/2019 19:35 | MF, regret I have no idea who Jarvis Crocker might be! Or was it he who started the, "WOT! you had a soggy brown paper bag", "We had nowt us"! | lefrene
06/6/2019 19:27 | I think the majority view is that 1350/1360 is the key level. You can't expect to break right through on the first attempt but the eyes of the investment world are watching | mad foetus
06/6/2019 19:22 | I have Sept 2011 to Sept 2017 as the Bull Flag formation on Gold Weekly chart. Sept 2017 to Aug 2018 as the back-test August 2018 onwards is the continuation of the bull-flag breakout. Break 1360 and some terrific targets are achievable in next 2-3 years …. ie. throughout the time that the PSA remains in our favour for Gedabek | mattjos
06/6/2019 19:17 | Mattjos, when AAZ is 'reassuringly expensive' then the scribblers will be presenting it as 'quality', perhaps around the £3 level after a couple of years of hefty and increasing dividends! The modern fad of 'social media' and celebrity youtubers, seems to have turned much of the world into an echo chamber, and yet for a while it works, it's knowing how soon to get off a band wagon after the herd has jumped on. It seems to take a disaster before people become more discerning. I daresay behind the scenes in most investment houses everything is run by algorithms, and very likely the next crash will happen simply because the herd is following the herd, is following the herd. A risk averse culture accidentally creating huge risk. | lefrene
06/6/2019 19:01 | GCM.t going into the 3.90’s. | riggerbeautz
06/6/2019 18:58 | Well done on BIDS Sb. Cmb - MTFB I just can’t see getting the finance for another crack with iclaprim, but who knows... AAZ feels like it’s ready to break a quid, but again, who knows :) | bumpa33
06/6/2019 18:55 | This is beginning to read like a monty python script! | goodgrief
06/6/2019 18:42 | sportbilly1976, I've seen as hard times as anyone, no one ever did me any favours or family leave me anything in a will. I once calculated that a daily cup of tea from an automat was costing me £25 a year, and realised I couldn't afford it and thus stopped using the machine! I was in my late 30's before I could afford to take any sort of holiday, but the only loan I ever took out was a mortgage to rebuild a totally derelict cottage. I realise without going into details that my life has not been a conventional one, but I do know what not knowing where your next meal is coming from, or where you are going to sleep at night feels like. The people who annoy me the most are those who pretend to be poor when it turns out that daddy is a merchant banker, or mummy owns an 18 farm agricultural estate. I came across a lot of 'hippies' who were complete fakes and amusing themselves by playing with the oiks! Just another one of life's learning curves, hence I'm not that surprised as to where the 'hippy' generation has now led us! | lefrene
06/6/2019 18:03 | STCM um,,, seems some serious trades going on now :-) this seller must surely want completely out :-),,, if so it'll take time, but share price holding up, so someone wants them,,, I think???,,,,oh what a game this is :-) LOL, cheers Wan GLA | wanobi
06/6/2019 17:56 | S.Billy.Thank you I had to go out today, beautiful day today so just came back and just catching up now. Bumpa, Biotech Co,s are slow burners, I did at one time hold MTFB. I think I sold out at around 40P. There was another Co that held quite a few share in MTFB, forgotten its name. I had bought both and sold both at the same time. I am keeping away from Banks,Oil and other financials. Gold is Vogue at the moment so happy with AAZ here. | callmebwana
06/6/2019 17:50 | I thought it was, "Resistance is useless." :/ | fardels bear |
