05/6/2019 13:44 | but ain't all the trades so far today been buys, the 11k U/T excepted ? There's over 50k of 'em; not that shabby and consolidating upwards. More often than not, AAZs price trades down after RNS inspired rises, until get within a few days of a known update or report; so this is a welcome change. | ![]() 2sporrans
05/6/2019 13:37 | I think AAZ must mine treacle, as they don't seem the least affected by the soaring price of gold! | ![]() lefrene
05/6/2019 13:31 | Klosters, not many buyers either so it seems we have a stalemate for now. Bottom line profit will be higher and the price will reflect that soon enough.😁 | ![]() ilostthelot
05/6/2019 13:16 | See no change whilst I was out only the spread has opened again, still bidding 98. whilst cey is up 5p. To think I sold them as was going nowhere, should have held a bit longer. Dean, I held that for years and only lost money as it was 5p at one point and never saw it again so bailed. | ![]() cinoib
05/6/2019 12:50 | But not many are cashing in. There is no volume which I believe simply reflects how few are aware of AAZ. | ![]() klosters65
05/6/2019 12:37 | Thanks KS. You're a wealth of knowledge. AAZ Should catch up with other gold miners in the coming days if gold remains on the up.. Imho. It looks like people are cashing in at £1. That's fair enough, a profit is a profit after all. Those shares go into stronger hands who'll hold for £2. | ![]() ilostthelot
05/6/2019 11:37 | Not quite. Remember, not all GEO production is gold (about 80% - and copper price has reduced). Also there is a 12.75% share of gold revenue payable to the gov under the PSA to deduct, then there is additional tax to pay on the gross profits - before any of this hits free cash flow. I'd guestimate somewhere in the region of $800k above forecast (after tax), which would equate to 0.7c on the half year dividend. Still - good news nonetheless! | ![]() king suarez
05/6/2019 11:32 | LLb, the extra $40/oz if it flows straight through on 40k oz production is indeed and additional 1.3cents per share | ![]() sportbilly1976
05/6/2019 11:29 | 100p finally cracked :) steve - your 5k went through nex | ![]() sportbilly1976
05/6/2019 11:23 | Guidance and forecasts at USD 1250 POG, current YTD POG 1297 and that smells very much like a 25% FCF $0.04c dividend for H1 to me.. I'm going with 0.04 for H1, 0.05 for H2 dividends, USD 0.09 for FY2019.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
05/6/2019 11:07 | STCM is same MM on the Bid for what we believe is same seller today? I see another big trade there :-) Thanks, cheers Wan | wanobi
05/6/2019 11:07 | missed BIDS for now :-) will look for a pull back now I feel,,, may well miss the boat but not chasing it right now :-) should have acted earlier :-) LOL oh what a game, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
05/6/2019 11:02 | Just managed to get another 5000 odd at 99 | ![]() steve c1
05/6/2019 11:01 | Yes, but when it starts to move up one finds you can't get hold of any! So if you fancy AAZ perhaps best to buy when it's quiet? | ![]() lefrene
05/6/2019 10:58 | true re the Gold price rise...although a lack of volume here will result in a dormant share price ..barely 20,000 shares traded all morning so far | ![]() sportbilly1976
05/6/2019 10:49 | Gold rising has to be good for AAZ, whatever the reasons for it. | ![]() lefrene
05/6/2019 10:45 | Not sure why you've posted this wrt me Cinoib I did say more growth is called for rather than less, esp. in Europe/Japan. This embraces more efficient growth in my book; ditto lower 'external' costs like e.g. pollution. I think for UK, emphasis should be on investment in new/better technology, preferably augmenting labour rather than replacing/displacing it + in educating/training labour to best use it. Never mentioned immigration nor control thereof. but seeing you've bought it up, the greater the restriction upon 'imported' workers, all the more call for new technology investment/adoption/ | ![]() 2sporrans
05/6/2019 10:43 | Aaz was 5p 3 years ago and now almost £1p. Delicious 20 bagger. Have a look at AAU...2p/share with low market cap. Will produce 50000oz per year from next year. I think that is another candidate for at least 10 bagger in 3 years. | ![]() deanmatlazin
05/6/2019 10:43 | Gold at 3yr highs now in GB£ | ![]() mattjos

05/6/2019 10:20 | Bumpa, BIDS is obviously bluesky but ZOO got up over a p/e of 100 last year on promise of high revenues from netflix and PRSM had a market cap over 2bn last year with no profits. BIDS is in a very hot sector with Google (and others) set to announce a streaming model for games this week and 5G about to take off etc - all good for the BIDS model. BIDS have broker revenue forecasts of over £5M for this year and £20M next with an approx 40% margin. It remains to be seen if these will be achieved but they have brought some quality hires on board. You can understand the excitement but your point of view is also valid. I'm in for the ride, it has a lot of momentum. | ![]() homebrewruss

05/6/2019 09:44 | Matt, I agree with much of your post 22566. Given your 'global reset' scenario, however, I think it is naive not to mention the greatly increased political risk to the AAZ PSA that would accompany the impending global turmoil. I doubt it will be 'business as usual' for a minnow gold/copper producer. | ![]() ptolemy |
