There were about 10-15 punters at the agm last year and I would say most of them were from the advfn boards, I am sure there will be more this year but I won't be in the uk...

The 'crime' is that AAZ management as yet don't get the recognition they deserve for their high integrity, the manner in which the company is run and the way the managers conduct themselves is in such stark contrast to the multiplicity of rogues hiding behind an AiM listing. I suppose we have to wait until AAZ is 'discovered' by the blue bloods when the market cap passes £500 million :¬)

@jb
Great post, and happy to be onboard and remain patient as been burnt too many times on punts in the past.

@mf
Dilution, thieves and sharks comes to mind. Agreed AAZ approach is unique, it’s second to none afaiac as is the management and team

...and mkt cap - CEY @ £1.17bln, AAZ @ £114mln (so as good as 10x)

17.07.2019 Q2 update
19.09.2019 H1 financials and interim dividend announcement
Any Exploration updates..?

100p breached again .. :o) hoping this 1 will hold and we can close on or over it..

Interesting to compare CEY/AAZ all square now on the SP, similar PSA, only much different AISC 900 vs 500/Oz, 0.03 vs 0.04 final 2018 dividend..

BIDS - taken profit.

Will wait to see how it progresses from here and the newsflow to come, but felt some of the momentum is starting to wane, and there is quite a lot of hot money in it currently so would rather be one of the first out the door.

Happy to (always) leave some for the next man though if it continues upwards :)

Don't like to do this on the AAZ thread but, will bend my own rules for this one occasion .. most folk know what's what elsewhere but, I am carefully watching CNG this month. Cannot recommend it in any way as much too risky for numerous & very obvious reasons & fgsake, no one even for one second consider selling AAZ for what is a complete and utter Lingfield 4.30pm punt - they either finally get it together now, else it will be a dud to avoid for ever.
Please keep posts on that to the CNG thread though as do not want to dilute the quality of this thread.

(Of the rest, TSG looks the standout pick afaiac. Management there are very impressive individuals.)

Btw chartwise this looks fab. £1 will always be a tough nut, but we tested hard on results day, fell back to 90ish, tested again and have barely fallen back at all. Looks ready to pull away, just need a few buys

Agree with all of the recent comments but would add that the really unique feature of AAZ is the board's approach. Almost every other AIM company, though miners are the worst, issue buckets of options all the time. In terms of long term returns, the difference that results from diluting by 5-10% pa is huge. And that is before we even compare the assets and profits of AAZ

gone short WPCT at 65. Should've done it a lot sooner as Woodford looks to be finished.

The US markets are breaking down so the FED will have to act or the Donald Trump party will end soon.

I've looked for another AAZ as well. There isn't one!!

I think medusa mining, (mml) ASX, has a decent chance of a good recovery. I don't hold because the manangement are incompetent. However I think they will come good and are a potential multi bagger from current Price.

Others I watch are
AAU, TSG, CEY, HGM,HUM.

I am 85% invested in AAZ.
If the next AAZ comes along, everyone, please share it with us!

Jb2 I am with you. My 3 goldies over 50% of my pension. Supposedly very high risk. But what can you do they keep going up!

Squeaky bum Time for me.

Aaz looking very well placed for more. Been in since 30 all the way down to 5 and now back up. Adding throughout. Now holding.

Good morning all and good luck today;

thanx cmb, AMC still a watch for me right now :-)

thanx Rb, GCM, so frustrating, HL online won't let me buy in my SIPP :-) grrrr

thanx hbr, BIDS, just too hot for me to buy now :-) well done for average price, that's a nice cushion should it crash back as fast as it went up.

AAZ link by Mj today to stockopedia dividend analysis is a must read (thanx mj) :-)

Is stockopedia worth subscribing to?
Do people rely on things like the F & Z scores?
I have a trial at moment, it runs out tomorrow though :-)
Is it worth £168.75/year first year only deal ?

Cheers
Wan :-)

Thanks JW. Kind of you to say so.
I've recommended AAZ to various people at the places I've worked the last few years.
Quite a few bought in and needless to say they're all delighted.
The earliest one has an average buy lower than mine as I've continued to buy more. They're all still holding. Not one doesn't understand where this is going.

@LLB... yep as I've posted previously, I reckon 9c for 2019 too.
Anyone buying now and holding for 13 months could get 13c divi AND a capital gain. I mean we'll earn so much over the next year it's not possible there won't be a gain.

Re those posting for the next AAZ.
Each time I look around for alternatives I find they're not as good a prospect as AAZ. So I try to find something to buy and spread my risk by diversification but possibly increase my risk of mismanagement or dilution etc etc.
AAZ it is then. Clearly my strategy is perceived as very high risk. And investing in many shares or in "safe" funds such as Mr Woodfords is a sensible way of spreading ones risk. Turns out that those mega brains investing gurus don't know it all though.

Rigger, agreed re BIDS, my average is just above the placing price so feel I should have time to get out if it all goes pear shaped.

Bids takes me back to companies like PDX, MDY etc ride it whilst hot, but get out of dodge if the model doesn’t deliver.

Wan GCM.t inching up into the 3.70’s now. Took my profits in ROXG average of 23% over made up for my so called play safe DRV and SMDS stops being busted. Note to self, stick to higher risk plays.
