07/12/2018 13:01 | If any of you saw U.S. trade gap for last month you will wonder like me why the $ is worth anything at all, yes I know they have a vast store o bullion but at $55 thousand million a month defercit, they will have to pay it back at some point. and then gold will be in orbit. | cinoib
07/12/2018 12:59 | "proper research" involves checking whether the company maintains its website as one of the principal means of keeping shareholders informed. I hope they haven't been working on a new website for over two years, and the fact that other pages are up to date suggests that's not the reason that page dates back to 2015-6. A financial calendar will normally include things like dividend dates, and since AAZ has just recently introduced a dividend, the failure to keep that page updated strikes me as odd. I've seen worse, but usually only with the kind of company I've learned to avoid. I'm glad to hear others think this oversight was an exception. | zangdook
07/12/2018 12:49 | Re AAZ, all things being equal, I think support at 80 is too low a level . Breakaway gap [27/10/2005] 85-90 has now been filled, but represents a good historical support zone. There is also a bearing for a horizontal line [Bowl rim height] at 83 [2011]. Potential turn in share price 7-10/12/2018. No position. | bamboo2
07/12/2018 12:46 | POG still trying to breakout; free stock charts from uk.advfn.com Cheers Wan | wanobi
07/12/2018 12:28 | thanx Bumpa, yes, my RED arrow is the resistance part of the line that's now become a support line marked by the green arrow.... from now on I'm going to use that colour convention, cheers Wan | wanobi
07/12/2018 11:49 | this rally looks even more compelling in non-us$ price - blue line also, worth noting the 2 price, 5 yr history $ price went sideways; in other currency basket a temperate bull market ongoing. so, when the us$ eventually resumes its long term weakness [obviously boosts pog as such] there ought to be a 'catch-up' boost to pog. | 2sporrans
07/12/2018 11:32 | Hopefully a similar move this month as last December ($1240 - $1330) :) | sportbilly1976
07/12/2018 11:29 | P.s. it’s a support line wan, it only becomes a resistance line when the share price is bumping along UNDER it...! | bumpa33
07/12/2018 11:25 | something seems amiss @ SOU, 3 hours into the day and already 2nd largest vol in 3 months. Someone wants out there or maybe a sniff of a raise... | bumpa33
07/12/2018 11:22 | Look a pretty clear breakout for gold now | mattjos
07/12/2018 11:19 | If it were me, I’d be looking around that 80p level, assuming no change in fundamentals. But that’s me, you gotta go with what you think wan. | bumpa33
07/12/2018 11:17 | I think I'm happy with about 1,600 oz a week at circa $700 gross margin and no debts, and about £100millions worth of capital equipment. I feel I can forgive them a temporary blip with the website. :¬) I also notice gold has firmed up again in to the $1240's | lefrene
07/12/2018 11:07 | apologies if I'm boring people on here with my AAZ focus at the moment; its because I'm trying to decide when to buy some more and looking closely at the chart again today I see that now might just be the time as there is a weakish 90p resistance support line being adhered to.... RSI is back down, only alarm is MACD cross-over!!! Any thoughts out there on this, cheers Wan :-) free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | wanobi
07/12/2018 10:55 | zangdook makes a valid complaint. if i was looking to invest for 1st time, i'd want to check what was coming up, be it x-dividend dates/dues, production/financial fortunately, we have matt's excellent lookahead to refer to here. but, agree this blemish within the aaz website is in contrast to it's excellent performance in all important respects and indeed its much improved communications with investors over the past year and more. | 2sporrans
07/12/2018 10:46 | They are working on new website so, not updating this one | mattjos
07/12/2018 10:11 | Proper research would reveal a clerical error, certainly not a careless company, a million miles off base there. | bleepy
07/12/2018 09:42 | It's always annoying when you're researching a promising company and you hit some nonsense like this: Are they usually that careless? | zangdook
07/12/2018 09:37 | Presumably the odds are now pretty high on an RNS next week to boot | mad foetus
07/12/2018 09:34 | Taking the peaks from Oct and Nov as resistance points and joining these with the fall at the end of Nov and today's level as support...all technically set up to bounce. Long term rising support and resistances in place (resistance on next move up imo would be 100-105p RSI also back under 70 | sportbilly1976
07/12/2018 09:27 | Bumpa, I've not been impressed with the ADVFN software platform since I started using it, it's so primitive and costs way too much for what it is.... cheers Wan | wanobi
07/12/2018 08:47 | 45 minutes into trading and finally they get it up... | bumpa33
07/12/2018 08:25 | morning all, fingers crossed ROPEC can reach a deal today and actually announce it along with a review date in say 3 months time so there is some clarity on something, lol.... cheers Wan | wanobi |
