Currently 11-1 on the buy side so shouldn't keep this price to much longer and pog of£ or so last I looked. See the yanks lost all the last 2 days gains in one session, typical.

Good morning all.
Wanobi, ORM is a long term hold. Don't forget many bought in at 2P. Now taking profits.
Wait until production starts there. They may work 7 days a week also at ORM.
Look what happened to AAZ. I started to buy in @ 32P and topped up to 95P.
The same in ORM I got in @ 2 P and topped up to 4.8P. The herd will arrive in ORM soon.
All of th sellers will sit back and say why did I sell it at 5 P.
I expect ORM to settle around 8/10P.
We had a small tornado here last night. Today seems much calmer. I am off to Kyrenia for the day.

Bumpa, wishing you good luck with your shorts. Also luck to your friend in the hospital. You are a good smaritan.
Have a good day all.
ATB.

Just to fess up I’ve sold a few over the last few sessions. Less than six figures and a fraction of my holding they went fairly easily at an average over 94. First I’ve sold ( other than bed/ISA ) after over two years of solid accumulation. A rather forced and reluctant seller at this stage since I’ve tax liabilities to meet and I appreciate the additional value that remains for the buyer to be realised in the future. In the bigger picture it’s making the market and confirms to me what’s obvious in any event , that there is a buyer in volume currently who will underpin the share price at these levels and subsequently provide support. Cheers Fz.

People sell for all kinds of reasons, this has doubled in quick time, in current markets cash is king, short terms sellers possibly looking at the overbought RSI.

hoping a flight to Gold as a safe haven should it all go awry will help AAZ and be a hedge against my other holdings... cheers Wan

Wan - there’s a fair amount of stuff out there about the yield curve inversion - not everyone agrees (unsurprisingly) on what we’re seeing now and it’s possible effect.

Regardless, at the moment we have a market that’s gonna have a tough time making new highs, stating the somewhat bleedin’ obvious...

US shut tomorrow I believe. Will be looking for any neg. news pre market UK tomorrow morning as any bad co. news will get slammed.

I think Sven Hendrich’s year end bounce thesis may have taken a knock today..!

CNBC - The same bond market move happening now occurred before the last three recessions

Bespoke studied what happens when short-term interest rates rise above longer-term rates and found that when the 3-year and 5-year spread inverts, as it did Monday, other spreads soon follow, and so does a recession.

In the last three recessions, the curve of the 3-year and 5-year had inverted an average 26.3 months before the recession.

The worst stock market performance is not when the yield is inverting, but after it begins to steepen again, according to Bespoke.

Cheers
Wan

The S&P dropped like a stone from 2760, found support twice at 2700, but a bad day nonetheless. I’ve a feeling some low vol stuff is starting to blow up...

Closed Tesla for a loss on the bell at $359 - 10 points off the highs of the day - but considering the blood bath literally everywhere else no point in staying with it.

Just about holding 2700 into the close but off 3.3%

The only other 3 years since 1950 we’ve had a 3% down day in December?

The problem with these swings is that they chip away at the confidence of market participants and the market becomes destabilised - increasingly nervy and jittery.

Just had a quick look in and wow - the brutality of the thumps down make me fear for this market wan. Unfortunately I’m out of the game this evening as at the local hospital translating for my neighbour and a suspected stroke. This would’ve been an evening to trade, for sure :(
