My guess the mystery seller who is not wanting to be recorded for divi is dumping their remaining holding???

This guy:

I think more likely just nervous pi's selling and perhaps some expecting a greater drop tomorrow and friday than just the dividend amount

Front page of BBC website, some Azeri in London given an unexplained wealth order and looks like he may have a lot of property seized

Picked up 10,000 at 66.75. Wonder if the Azeri in the news is our seller? Presumably needs cash before it can be seized?

RRE just the headline figures of 11,000 bopd with a mkt cap below £100m is incredibly cheap. Chucking the entire mkt cap in a years profits.

Sticking with RRE? Any idea how their costs may look in the future? Revenues will obviously depend heavily on oil prices

Just toying with the idea of buying back in for the dividend tomorrow after having sold at 73.3p. 69p now or perhaps get back in 65p or below tomorrow. Suppose buying 50% back is the answer. RRE - I've been in from 340p TXP - made quite a bit from it by trading it but out now, I'd be wary of a fundraise at a discounted rate to develop the Ortoire field.

A reasonable supposition Wanobi; not one you deserved a mark-down for.

My own take is that the newsflow will be very supportive over the coming months, metals prices maybe excepted.
Even if Q3 does disappoint some, the general thrust going forward looks like increased Gold-Equivalent production at sub $600 AISC enabled by [since June] dual process streams [AL->SART gold and Flotation for concentrate] with both recent Gadir and main pit developments feeding this. + Critically resource/mine-life expansion for which Gadir JORC will only be first of series. + possible new resource prospects revealed by Heliborne survey & other exploration.

Well done those that snaffled up at 68p.
Mean't to place a limit buy for that but preoccupied.

Just as an example of how convoluted the tax regime is:

B. rate tax on divi. 7.5% , HR Tax 32%.

Except if the dividend comes from property investment - includes Commercial Property - where the BR Tax is 20% and the HRT 40%....i think, though not certain about latter.

Thanks KS. That's essentially where I'm at as well. Seems a very hard one to judge and potentially too risky for that reason. The current cash flow is very impressive though

I can only reason that some think AAZ is ahead of itself right now and that it will fall should Q3 not be as good as some expect? cheers Wan
