Price will be determined by the seller in the auctions i suppose. POG still heading down too will not help now in the 1180's. I am sure many of us would have wished to be buying more at this level, but having done so for the last few weeks im not going to be able to. Those that have kept their powder dry will hopefully save the day !

Mattjos, place a buy or sell order on your share dealing account and you will have used dma.

Will do, they may genuinely be none the wiser but i’ll try. The stock is getting picked up though so not sure I’d be too bothered at the moment.

Point I am trying to make is DMA is not readily accessible for average investor. Auction buying/selling requires DMA.This is not PI price action

robo21 - exactly, the dollar is going up and the correlation that gold goes down is, for now, playing out (it hasn’t always, but that’s the norm).

AAZ is, like many/all other miners a simply proxy for the metal itself and traded as such.

There’s no conspiracy, you either accept the state of play, or you move on to something else.

Further afield, as stated several times, it’s summer, volumes are down - more so than usual - there is nervousness out there in every single market, even in the US where that market is dominated - and to some extent being propped up by - the FANG stocks and large tech.

There are volatile times heading the way of the markets come autumn I feel. And then gold will be back in favor.

Worth watching US markets, near solely my attention these days, the UK is almost a sideshow

If the POG keeps falling at this rate some miners will be in trouble.Other metals are also falling in price too. Luckily our costs are much lower than many. Many analysts keep saying that the POG will rally .. all it seems to be doing at the moment is going down... Heaven forbid what will happen if the company puts out some bad news !! Not long until hopefully some good news !

Robo its not a conspiracy. AAZ has always been undervalued at every stage of the last 10yrs. This is the year that is all expected to change. 2018 the year of deliverence alluded to by all the best BULLS on this board.I have to say without the information shared here I would not be so comfortable holding through the weaker times. Now I dont care the value will come and a DIVI thrown in.HOLD

A bid would certainly focus more eyes on it, and I can't see the Board letting it go on the cheap if they can help it. But now all the hard work and grief have been got through, I dare say it's on the shopping list of a chancer or two.

Make a low ball offer? The board have nigh on 30% and this board probably has circa 15%.
A bid might be useful to publicise how cheap the company is!

I agree with you Lefrene this is being low balled. It always has been for some reason. AAZ has always been lower than expectations. I still remain LONG as 2018 / 19 is the year(s) of deliverence. 10 years down the road and 5 yrs later than initially expected. At the end of the day the company and the share price are often not synced. I do feel AAZ will come good. It could all turn to mush. Who knows..... Hold tight we are all in for a longer ride.....Price of Gold is not helping but there is always something here weighing the price down.HOLD

Firstly it's AiM, the authorities don't give tuppence for what happens on this market. Secondly, who would benefit from this persistent selling of an expertly run company that has finally come to fruition? It does feel as if there is a scheme being worked to perhaps make a low ball offer? Perhaps a concert party, each acquiring just under 3%? If so will they pounce before any more good news comes out? No doubt we will all be the wiser a few months from now.

Chart at critical point - needs to hold here at the 200ma.

If this level is taken out and remains so for a number of days I will sell out since one can always review matters thereafter.

Gold remains depressed which is not helping matters, though gold is due a significant bounce in the near term.

Am keeping an eye on the other thread, since if the ebullience evaporates with hardened optimists over there, one can take that as an indicator the bottom is likely in. These boards are a very useful read for contrarian signals...

Limelight Industrial Developments Ltd would fit the bill at 3.5/4% holding if they were the sellers. No reason other than size holding and fishing in the dark.
They have been onboard since 2005 and have 2 directors.
Can anybody add known info on this holding.

I dont know but it is the reason why the price keeps falling ! Surely they would be better off selling when the price was rising in the open market when people are buying. We have now reached a 'new' price for their selling with it being below 40p , rather than 40-42 p. With results not far off it is all rather strange and annoying !!

seller has dropped 99,999 in the auctions today as follows:

40.8 50,000 08:00:29
40.0 43,000 11:00:16
40.0 6,999 14:00:13

& now signalling a further 50,000 to sell at 39.5p in the closing auction.

This has been going for months & added up, is way more than 3% of the company ... What's the game?

I am seeing this behaviour on few stocks now....persistent seller(s) driving the price down, yet the Co's is reporting good news.

It is all very odd and really peeing me off.
