Copper Just Smashed Past a Record. Here’s What You Need to Know

Anglesey is a sitting duck takeover target, they have millions of tonnes of copper valued at a mere circa £4m ??????????

Its been 10 years since i last held this stock bought in 2009 for 4p been building
another stake last week same money. Rode the last lot to 100p just on the
back of LIM alone.

This time we have copper and iron both at higher prices than 2011 Parys at a more advanced stage and and the cycle is just getting started .

AYM need to sell out this time, last chance, i hope they are putting a plan
into action...........

Well they pay themselves what they are worth. Having a listing advisors accountants etc adds up so it's not surprising that kind of burn.Re kids at the back...you are not the driver pal..presume you are not old enough.

I have spoken to quite a few CEO's of AIM companies, some know the tricks brokers pull, the ones that care for their shareholders will not play the 'rolling short' game so when the broker comes along and says there is demand to raise £500k in the market the CEO politely turns them away, the result is often a short squeeze.

I do not see another placing at AYM currently, the raise was £660k in January and the normal burn is no more than £25k a month so that cash will last another 15 months at least.

I think adding at current levels could see a significant return, Copper is going mental in price and AYM has a JORC of 5m ounces of combined metals.

As I say, only a matter of time before the herd realise how cheap AYM is and pile in.

Same old, been going through on for 20 years. I await a plan on moving Parys forward...What they going to do with Sweden? All very well having lumps of rock about the place but means nothing if it's going to be sitting around... Anyone else looked at PXC? Another copper play, not many shares in issue?

From the placing..this is a concern not only that nobody checked the grammar but that a company that has serially failed to get things off the ground might even consider wasting everyone's time and money on further project investments to go with the ones they already have that they cannot progress! There should be one focus on Parys with some side contribution to LIM getting back into production..end of."The group will also use utilise some proceeds for the further evaluation of other base metal projects at advanced stages suitable for incorporation into the group. I have edited my post as it was too revealing however the shares have never performed properly since the placing, I spotted a pattern and have seen it elsewhere.

What is needed is significant (and unexpected) volume, it can only be a matter of time before a Twitter or Telegram group target AYM to the upside, with copper surging AYM must become a obvious buy target for such entities, there is significant upside with volume, add to the mix short closing and the shares could rocket.

11p in January !

Maybe conjecture but I'm pretty sure you are near the mark as some strange goings on..wouldn't surprise if there is front running of a placing going on..would not be legal if they were aware obviously. Could be a short position is built then go to company and say they can raise money board think oh thanks nice thank you ..closes the short and gets a fee for doing so. I'm sure not that blatant but I totally agree this board are out of their depth if there is some sharp practise going on. Only thing is if there was a short and the board did actually pull a rabbit out the hat the shorts would get mullered. Here's hoping for rabbits.

ETX Capital are the 'problem' here, very few of their client stocks do well, a pattern is emerging, they are up to no good. not a friend of the private investor.

Yes, my last position was close to notification but I unloaded a good few higher up, I’m now gathering them up again. These micro caps can be very lucrative but you need to buy and sell in small chunks else the price gets hammered and execution takes forever.

Sure will, it's just a matter of waiting for news flow. Predicting when news will come is a mugs game, they will release news when they've have had the necessary cheese and wine evenings to discuss it, I'm in no hurry with copper hitting record highs, let it continue and we'll enjoy a lucrative reward at some point in the future.

Copper price is all over the news. I just added 192k at close for 3.975p which immediately kicked the price up. I've a couple of million now, lets see what the next few weeks bring.

You would think so..the time to first production assuming information from company is reliable and the safe and accessible geographic location must make this unique.LIM equally to reestablish meaningful production is not unduly capital intensive and i think i read 16 months to production the numbers worked at $90 per ton..now $200. The IRR must be absolutely extraordinary. If the boards of both these companies cannot progress these prospects due to lack of financial credibility then they should look at disposals of assets or the whole to someone who can. Dont expect shareholders to get the full return they could expect but any valuation on disposal would certainly be many multiples of market valuation i guess.
