Yep, I see no current planning applications lodged by Anglesey Mining with the council. The reality is it takes years to get planning approval for a mine, even in areas of previous mining.

I could always be proven wrong, but I reckon it would take 4 or 5 years from now before we had a fully operational mine in Anglesey. That timescale would probably work well with reinstating the railway line and creating a branch line to the mine.

Why do people complain about reopening a disused railway line? I mean it's not as if they are building it from new and disturbing the environment. Obviously best if it's electric powered. They could use some of that Anglesey wind.

Something going on.? I hope so one way or another. Its almost criminal that the BoD is sitting on this value of assets in the ground when the assets themselves are going through the roof in value. They are complicit in allowing AYM to flatline. Forget the MM's, I am beginning to lose faith in the Management here...although I aint selling.
Someone better worded than me should contact the company methinks. All they are likely to get from me is a verbal "pull your Fing finger out or let someone else monetise this"
