15/5/2021 16:31 | There are a lot of investors on LSE feel the same about nothing happening and have discussed getting the board to sell Parys. Trader I held back from posting earlier as well regarding the 166% rise, my main holding isn't far off 8p which I've held for almost ten years.. I didn't jump ship when we reached 11p but at times I wished I had..I did make money trading it in another account with a far smaller holding to soften the mistake... | benjamin15
15/5/2021 16:01 | Trader it may be 160% for you but its most certainly not for me baring in mind I bought most of my shares when they were 50-60p plus. | 1blazer
15/5/2021 14:58 | I hold over 1% of the company, people should chill and let things play out. AYM is up 166% over the last 12 months, the rising metal prices should push it higher in coming weeks/months. | trader536
15/5/2021 13:49 | I think the AGM is not until Sept that's a long time to wait with no news. | theman8
15/5/2021 13:18 | The directors must call a general meeting if so requested by the holders of 5% of the voting shares..so not that easy but not impossible though Juno (26%) is connected and no other institution owns more than a few %. Quite a few in HL but these are just nominee holdings (inc mine) for private individuals . Might be better to wait for AGM if folks want to make a point about corporate governance , lack of progress or timeline to achieve realistic goals to vote against the Chairman , who has been on the board since 1994 and holds no shares , however he is the youngster on the board at 69. | kooba
15/5/2021 12:45 | Why not call an EGM because this bunch of reprobates are treating us shareholders with total contempt ignoring emails from Iglenn... if we don't do anything we will get sent down the river im sure, as you say fortunately they didn't take a salary they are all obviously well off and don't need any more cash. I really think we ought to send a letter with a mass of signatures from shareholders demanding news if we then get no response then lets get together and call an EGM, ive never had to do this but im prepared to help with someone which ever way i can. ive been in this company for over 10 years and i hold just over a million shares so if you are right that we only need 10% then lets do it. | theman8
15/5/2021 12:27 | The only way an EGM could work is if some of the bigger institutional investors got their heads together, became a unit, requested more of the smaller investors to join them then raise holy hell and force the directors to initiate the EGM. When this happens, the institutions will probably gain control of the company and replace this inefficient group of pals for more worthy individuals who have the company`s interests at heart. | klondykejohn
15/5/2021 10:33 | How do you force an EGM? Calling an EGM as requested by shareholders owning at least 10 percent of the Company's voting shares shall be carried out by the Company's Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall either call or refuse to call the EGM within 5 days from the date that the corresponding request was lodged. | deanmatlazin
15/5/2021 09:55 | Agreed and as you can probably tell I have a right bee in my bonnet about this at the moment. I mailed them and got no response which to me is just plain bad manners. They are showing their true colours as far as I am concerned. Too old to give a flying about the asset, the company or its shareholders. Too damn lazy to even word an RNS correctly which speaks volumes about their attention to this project as far as I am concerned. Am bloody angry now that this bunch of old pals are just rinsing the money and cant be bothered to actually monetize what's available before it gets too late to be worth anything near what it is now, which in my opinion is less than 5 years away with new and disruptive tech gathering pace. Not taken a salary?...good, they dont deserve one. Not a happy bunny this weekend. Rant over. | iglenn
14/5/2021 21:53 | Either way, misterx, once they are out of the way, the share price will become a bargain buy and should begin to rise again. What concerns me most is that all directors have seen fit to cash in and apart from the CEO, no longer are invested in the company. This does not sit well with me as they appear to be lacking in confidence for the future of the company. They should put their own money in and convince us to invest. The lack of information coming out from anybody is a worry. I think that the CEO should clarify matters as a matter of urgency. | klondykejohn
14/5/2021 16:12 | Blue finish? :-) :-) | wassapper
14/5/2021 14:23 | The Anglo Canadian exploration is interesting.. | benjamin15

14/5/2021 14:09 | Companies House info for Anglesey Mining | hyper al
14/5/2021 13:16 | Juno have held for 25 years though they are obviously patient investors! | kooba
14/5/2021 13:06 | Try buying £100 worth at market, not even having that... | benjamin15
14/5/2021 12:57 | Try buying here and see how hard it is, they want 4.4p for 500,000 for example, a significant premium. Manipulation of the highest order ongoing, at some point there will be a spike to levels previous seen in January (11p) | m1sterx
14/5/2021 12:51 | Some could argue the directors taking no salary out of Anglesey Mining for 3+ years has saved shareholders £1m+, cash that would have had to be raised via dilution. The negative bias towards AYM across social media is deliberate, the shrewd can work out why. Slam dunk ! | greekhovel
14/5/2021 12:48 | Iglenn Juno have 26% for starters. | hyper al
14/5/2021 12:45 | The board all seem of 1 voice that this BoD do not care to do much anytime soon and their selling out shows they have no intention in bringing value to the asset in the ground. Its as clear as it could ever be...do we all want to sit and see our money just wasted because that's exactly what's happening IMHO. | iglenn
14/5/2021 12:37 | All, How is it done to convene an EGM and place a shareholder vote to remove these guys...wasapper said this was an option...is it really.? And should we do it.? Is there enough support.? | iglenn
14/5/2021 12:09 | Ive already made a purchase today not going to get carried away now ! | kooba
14/5/2021 11:55 | m1sterx Is it city spivs or Caribbean island spivs? | hyper al
14/5/2021 11:31 | The share price is where it is because city spivs have shorted it down and they are now trying to close, their market maker chums are almost certainly in on game as well. Buying now at current levels is a no brainer. | m1sterx
14/5/2021 11:22 | Morning all. I am new to this thread but as a shareholder it is interesting to read the various comments being posted here. Some pro and some anti people out there. I e-mailed the MD to find out whether a share consolidation was possible to firstly , increase share price and then to create an atmosphere of a fairly substantial new share placing to generate enough funds for the leeching process. His answer was that he did not believe that the share price would hold up if we pursued such an option. I later mailed him to ask about future work content on all 3 of our projects, and also to find out what new ventures they were considering as per their later news releases. Sadly, he has not replied. I was saddened to see that ALL directors cashed in after such a short time. Almost all now with zero holdings in the company. This is not a good sign and suggests that quick profits override their confidence in taking any of these projects to fruition. IMHO, I would suggest that a boardroom shake up is required. Dynamic people create dynamism and these directors appear to be quietly plodding along and will continue to do so. Parys is now beginning to look attractive due to copper/zinc prices. Further drilling would confirm that massive inferred quantity and should be started immediately. Results by the end of the year would then confirm the vast potential. the share price would begin to rise and obtaining that production loan would become easier. There is a lot of cash out there at the moment and with commodity prices on the rise then the directors need to get a plan of action in place ASAP Negative directors give negative results so it is time to act or leave. | klondykejohn |
