We'll find out end Q3/start Q4 2020 (assuming the company sticks to it's stated timelines, which going by it's previous failures to, is not guaranteed!), kfp, whether your CVR's will be worth anything. If the AP101 phase 3 trial result is negative then you can safely ignore your CVR's because they will be worth f*uck all!

My take on the conference call was positive. Because of the incidence of lumpy orders, which totalled $3m in Q1 and maybe equal to six months of sales, the underlying growth rate may have been 6% Q on Q rather than the reported 10%. On the other hand excluding redundancy the underlying EBITDA was $5.5m. There are still costs savings to come in this and next year and gross margins should increase.

So all good news.

If one remembers the algerion merger document included numbers that algerion management had submitted to the bankruptcy court. That projected revenues for the current year and projected that it would be EBITDA positive. Since then we have had a statement of the potential costs savings. It now looks as though the savings were at the higher end if the range as the results for Q1 were better than expected. That is good news. If the projections for next year are also proved accurate then, I my view, the shares are seriously undervalued.

Annual results and quarterly update read very well. Good progress ahead of schedule, no financial impact from Covid 19 and progress on the NASDAQ listing.

Happy to hold for a good while longer!

I've reposted the link, ali47fish, so you can easily access what you're looking for. I very much doubt you'll find any relevance to AMYT, or ORPH, contained in the link, but the best of luck. You might be able to find a tenuous relevance to ORPH. However I've no idea because I couldn't be bothered to read the article.

EDIT. Looking at the ORPH bb I now see what Lukehold is on about in regard to ORPH. They are testing an anti-viral treatment for COVID 19 and the share price has been very strong on the back of that news.

Probably wont work; the odds are probably not in it's favour, however the speculation has done wonders for the ORPH share price Now all we need is AMYT to jump on the COVID 19 bandwagon and announce it tomorrow! LOL.

You could be right that it was an internal transfer of stock. Don't apologise mate; you were correct to point out my mistake. It was a silly error on my part. I don't know what I was thinking of; I'm getting old and senile, sidam.

We know that Covid had an impact on getting subjects for the trial as the company said that, but on trading I would suggest that if someone is under treatment that is likely to continue. Most pharma stocks have performed relatively well in the market correction.

So I hope that trading will have remained strong. Sorry I should not have pointed out you mistake so easy to make. I think you right on transfer of stock, but it might be from one fund to another in the same group, such a transfer has, in my understanding, to go through the market.

You could be correct, sidam; I have no idea.

Sorry, sidam. It started on 6th April, not 6th May. My excuse? It's the lockdown! I've lost track of time!! I've edited my post, but I still think it was a transfer of stock between institutions.

Capital Gains Tax - Gov.uk

What Capital Gains Tax (CGT) is, how to work it out, current CGT rates and how to ... The tax year runs from 6 April to 5 April the following year.

April it is!!

Are you certain that the Uk tax year started on May 6.

Anyway, Next Monday is the short term key. Q1 numbers and any statement should give us some idea of results for this year.

I would not have thought that Covid would have had much impact.

Hmmmm...1 million shares dumped at £1..

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Were they both sells, Bronxville? Unlikely mate! There was only a 12 second gap between those 2 trades done at 9:33 on Tuesday morning, but only reported yesterday. Far more likely in my opinion is that there was a transfer of shares between one large holder to another and the trade/transfer was done at the then bid price.

If you look back at the trade history for the day before (Monday) you will see that even a relatively small sell of 4048 shares went through at 98p, 2p below the official 100p bid price. Logically those 2 x 500k trades, if both sells, would have been done at much below 100p and would have crashed the share price The fact that the bid price is still 100p even after those 2 trades backs my view that they were a sell and a buy (transfer) done between 2 institutional holders and done at the prevailing bid price. QED
