LOL. Last nights rise was just another example of the MM's quoting a ridiculous spread that bears NO relation to the actual prices that the shares are being traded at. Has happened so often in the past with AMYT. The actual spread is often lower than the one quoted by the MM's. Anyway almost all AMYT share trades go via SETSqx, thus bypassing the MM's.

The AMYT share price at the moment seems poised to take off like it did in early December. We have had the rise today above the upper band of tight Bollinger Bands as we did in early December. My short term target share price is a rise to over 20p and possibly 24p.


The rise in December was in anticipation of good news. Could that be happening again?

Nearly all AMYT trades bypass the MM's and go through SETSqx, bioking, so how can the MM's have been manipulating to keep the price down? Unfortunately the MM's more often than not quote a spread that is higher than the actual prices investors can buy and sell at.

looks like some manipulation by market makers to keep price down maybe to help some institutional investors to load up cheap shares without pushing price higher . i have seen that many times before its happening in most cases a few days before good news hit the wire . Whatever this year is the most important for AMYT with the Phase 3 readout on the way so im sure that share price will rise in the coming days and weeks especially on new product acqusitions and/or licensing deals for AP101 . STRONG BUY

Bronxville is fixated with Harris selling his 8m+ shares and wonders if he's been selling today. However would he try to sell over 8m shares on the Mkt? Unlikely. It would be counterproductive because the share price would crash if he tried it. Friel sold 8m+ shares last May, but he didn't try to sell them on the Mkt. Instead he found an institutional buyer for the lot at the then prevailing share price

PS. The Ichimoku chart posted a Strong Bullish signal today following the 6.15% rise.

I don't know why the MM's increased the AMYT share price by 1p (6.15%) just before the close. On the face of it it's baffling. Looking at the trades today it's mystifying why they did it. They must have a reason. No doubt we'll find out tomorrow whether there is a reason for the price hike, or whether it's just an aberration on the part of the MM's.

Here's a 3 year AMYT log chart showing today's breakout from a long term downtrend.

Here's a 6 month linear chart. If the rise in December is the 1st wave in an EW cycle, then we could be looking at the start of the 3rd wave and a possible target share price of cicra 24p. Of course at the moment that's just wishful thinking on my part. Let's see what tomorrow and the rest of the week bring first.

That 255k buy @ 13:07 for 16.50p per share was later REVERSED, diamondstar and was replaced by a 255k sell @ the same time (13:07) for 16p per share. No doubt the initial 16.50p was a keying error.

??????????????????, volsung. According to the horses mouth, the OFFICIAL London Stock Exchange site, AMYT closed up 1p (6.15%) at 17.25p.

The last reported trade was timed at 16:32 was also reported then and was after the Mkt closed and was a sell @ 16.15p. Why reporting was delayed until after the Mkt closed is baffling because it wasn't a big trade.

Bought another £1k. Now got just over 32k shares. Something is behind this unusually high volume today. I'm gambling an RNS is on it's way and the Market knows that. Will the news be good, or bad (such as a placing)? No idea, but I'm hoping it's good news. I'm gambling on good news being released.

agree with you bazworth, the company has done everything and more that it planned out to do, the market just has not woke up to AMYT in my opinion.

I’m happy! AMYT have pretty much done what they set out to do, other than another licensing deal. All has been a little delayed but they appear to be doing ok!!

Just bought £1k worth to add to my 20k core holding. Now have over 26k shares. Why? I'm intrigued by the higher volume.

guys lets bomb them with emails ,you can ask them about an company update and that youre very frustrated to be a shareholder of AMYT as an example this will pressure them to react i did that many times on different companies .If they realize that many shareholders are not happy maybe they will start to deliver some updates and doing more PR .lets do this guys

Thing is, it is quite odd to see such volumes of trades. It’s also strange, in my view, to see such a steady share price in light of the higher volume. Perfectly balanced between sells & buys? Who knows, I don’t!!
