sp starting to climb. There is chart resistance at circa 20p. will the share price climb above that today? AMYT doesn't have a large following of rampers and pumpers & dumpers like some favourites of PI's so I imagine the rise in the AMYT share price will be more sedate and gradual than would be the case if AMYT was more on the speculators/PI radar.

Re News Today 11:36 If they had good news it would be out there, I’m not confident going forward.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I'm afraid you are wrong, Ajok. Just plain ignorance, on your part, I'm afraid! Do read the RNS's properly, Ajok! AMYT don't yet have any EASE news, good, or bad, to issue!! The Independent Data Monitoring Committee ("IDMC") are the ones with the news and they have yet to inform AMYT of it. This is what the RNS of December 19th stated:

"The Company expects to receive the unblinded EASE interim efficacy data readout ("Interim Readout") from the IDMC in early January and will update the market at that time."

EDIT: IGNORE MY POST. I was writing it when today's RNS was issued. Appears to be fairly good news! Let's see what investors think of it!

Talking of patience. Luckily I've only been here since early in 2015 (when FAST was effectively just a cash shell and the FAST share price was equivalent to today's AMYT share price after taking into a/c the 1 for 8 consolidation), but some poor blighters have been here since FAST first floated back in 2012! Then the FAST share price was 12p (equivalent to an AMYT share price of 96p) and it quickly rose to 31p (EQUIVALENT to an AMYT share price of 248p) in the same year just on speculation (I remember it at the time, but then I go back a long, long time in shares since I can remember watching the Poseidon Australian nickel mining share bubble unfold almost 50 years ago!!!!!).

Those unfortunate blighters who were sucked into buying FAST back in 2012 and still hold via AMYT could have to wait until the AMYT share price is well north of 200p to recoup their original investment.

Well the RNS dated the 19th December 2018 stated the following:

"At the time of the Company's IPO investors were granted warrants to subscribe for an aggregate of 20,836,695 New Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of 24p sterling with an exercise date of 31 December 2018 to enable investors to benefit from the results of the EASE study. In order to reflect the revised timeline for the Interim Readout, the Company is extending the exercise date of warrants issued to 11 January 2019. All other terms and conditions of the warrants, including the exercise price, remain unchanged."

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Hence we must be getting the EASE Interim Readout before next Friday 11/1/2019. So sometime between next Monday and next Thursday. Probably Monday, or failing that Tuesday.

Let's hope we get a good result and a significant increase in the AMYT share price A good result is DEFINITELY NOT GUARANTEED of course. Waiting for this Interim Readout is just like having placed all of your money on red, or black, in a casino and are waiting for the roulette wheel to stop! Sensible people with a big investment riding on this outcome might well have hedged their bets by now by de-risking but as I've only got just under £7k riding on the outcome I've kept all my shares and have made a few small additions since the 19th December. Fingers crossed I'm lucky. It's outside of my control so I'm not going to worry about it.

PS AMYT must be hoping for a good result if only because because if all the warrants are exercised they will receive around £5m.

Jacksonpollack posted this link back in May 2016 (16/5/2016):

Cathal Friel at UK Investors show:

Friel had to give the presentation because Joe Wiley was in the USA (Washington)

I don't know if I watched it at the time, but Jacksonpollack mentioned the following:

"Cathal also said with certainty that within 2 years Amyt will be sold to the biggest bidder once the trials have been completed and sales rolled out for some of their investments. He came across really well and acknowledged that he was the least experienced as far as pharmaceuticals are concerned. But he knew what he was talking about and must have brushed up on his knowledge. The interview is a must to see for all investors and prospective investors."

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Of course the interim analysis was due for March 2018 just within that 2 year period Friel mentioned! Will AMYT get a bid before the 11th January if the interim analysis is good? Is that why the waraants have been extended by less than 2 weeks?

Would AMICUS be the bidder? It apparently has a good relationship with AMYT and after all AMICUS was prepared to spend over US$800m, with US$294m as an upfront payment, to take over Socioderm whose main asset was apparently an EB treatment (similar to AP101) that had passed Phase II trials, but had yet to start Phase III?

Probably bollacks, but worth thinking about!

We should be moving into the 'imminent zone' now so possibly tomorrow or Monday. I can't see it going beyond Monday due to the warrant extension surely!

Squeaky bum time! 😁

Hopefully Bazworth but I'm only as confident as the roughly 60% chance of success so it's a high risk trade!

Don't forget that we have Lojuxta in the background that is continuing to increase it's sales in all of it's territories so we have this to fall back on in a worst case scenario. I really think it's unlikely the interims will show that AP101 is futile so worst case will hopefully be an increase in the study numbers and best case obviously to keep going as is. Let's hope it's the latter as we will see a dramatic change to the share price over the next 6 months if it is!

So those 3 chunky buys are rollovers?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

They were NOT "3 chunky buys", alphabravo. There was obviously some kind of rollover (or similar, see greendragon's post). It was for 446,774 shares. 446,774 sold @ 17p and bought back 11 seconds later @ 17.01p. This rollover (or similar) was timed at 1pm this afternoon, but reporting was delayed until after the Mkt closed. So really just like greendragon's 75k it's false volume as no shares were actually were bought, or sold.

The 411,264 trade @ 17p? Buy, or sell? Well it was reported after the Mkt Closed @ 8 minutes past 5 o'clock. Was it a "worked" trade throughout the day. The share price dropped just before the close so perhaps it was a sell? We'll probably never know what it was.
