Another UK dodgy float heading South, bet the backers glad to unload this debt fueled POS on the public and funds and get clear, two quid by this time next year.

If AML follows the same pattern as Ferrari it'll probably be worth buying in at about 12 - 13 quid... And then keeping your fingers crossed!

New car sales down 20% on the year

I know this is a completely different category

but still not good

brexit fears having an affect on consumer behaviour and the overall economy

Leaving the cars aside (overvalued), does anyone see any value in the Aston Martin luxury brand and premium state of the art property developments etc...?

That's not Rowan Atkinson again, is it.

With his money he can afford a few prangs.

maybe these fund managers have been incentivised to participate

are they allowed to recive gifts such as free cars ?

Crazy valuation for a brand. The future might be a takeover by Tesla.

Bankrupt seven times in past. Cannot believe anyone daft enough to buy into this POS, 200p in about 18 months, unreliable parts bin cars and a recession on the way.

I can’t believe fund managers bought in to this at such a rich valuation. No wonder I invest my own money.

This is something to consider in the teeth of a recession,
rather than peak cycle. Plenty of opportunities ahead for the patient imv.

When buying from PE, it's often private equity that gets the better deal.

Unusual timing for the IPO of a global brand.

Germany was enjoying a public holiday today, so markets closed and Chinese markets also closed this week.

I wonder whether we shall see some buying once they both reopen.

FT tore in to the IPO recently, worth a read. Would be very cautious here,

nice exit for PE.

dsct - I think the share price will drift down over the next few months - PE is quite high. Will be interested around GBP 12.00. Tie up with Red Bull Racing is generating a lot of publicity for not a lot of money. I'm also nostalgic for AM, one of the few British brands we can still be proud of, regardless of who owns it.
