Still 16% profit! Possibly a small pull back post ex divi but I think this will be back to 150p in no time

Would have been better still if I had sold the 162s at 210 but I was holding on for 212 to get 50p a share. A bit OCD I think. next time I looked we were toilet bound.

I thought 91 was the bottom but...............I was wrong
79 was about bottom - no skill just buying when I could get a signal on my phone :(

That's some good averaging down now paying off. I was lucky to discover these when they were 80p so managed buy at the bottom just about. Great divi and great news about Google so I would imagine these will only move further up.

I bought on the partnership news as it is low capital intensity so should be a good margin. There was a lack of numbers though which is a shame.

I hold significantly more shares than two of the Directors which is a bit alarming and they haven't been buying bucket loads have they? So I am watching this like a hawk

i read the bios of the new chair and the 2 x NEDs

They look like they are either going buying or selling to me- there is a fair bit of M&A experience in there.

I have never known a long served Chair disappear in a day from the company and the website and, 2 new NEDs appointed same day - experienced business managers

he may have been there a long time but the last year has hardly been a success has it?

If you get the strategy so badly wrong you lose 70% of your investors money in a year I wouldn't be shocked if someone had a quiet word in your ear.

He has been Chairman for 12 years - well beyond the 9 years normally seen as the maximum for an NED to be on a Board never mind the Chair.

And where does 'it looks like they are lining it up for a sale' come from?

With the dividend yield (presumably) providing a strong support to the share price, it will be interesting to see if the new chair (Karen Bach) is fully committed to the stated policy of maintaining the div at the current level until FY 2020. She has been an NED since Feb 2016, so presumably she has agreed with the dividend policy but it would be human not to feel as fully committed as Keith Todd, who had put his name on the bottom of the statements setting out the policy. (As far as I can see Karen Bach still does not own any shares).

Agree re IC. Well remember ST saying Tristel was a sell at 119. I topped up at 97 and it never really looked back. Dumped some Tristel all Ng the way and ALL of my IC subscription!

Interesting one

this has gone ex growth which usually screams value trap, but has no debt and is still chucking out free cashflow off lower turnover to support 8% divi yield, with Pru (M&G) buying. Focus is on margins.

All bit strange. I guess there's a seller about, however, you can't buy in any volume so I suspect the price may recover pretty quickly when whatever institutional games are going on have sorted themselves out.

If 4 are loss making and 3 others break even then Amino are doing realatively well. I’m not familiar with the sector, and was only tempted because of that promise to pay the increased dividend for next 2 years. Market reaction since suggests disbelief that they will be able to keep that pledge.

Any views on whether the dividend ploy was a desperate attempt to prevent a share price fall.....if so it hasn’t worked! After all why would Institutions want to dump a share paying a 10%+ dividend?
