03/4/2019 22:28 | Thanks gaffer - reminder to self: DON'T PANIC! xd 5.64p tomorrow. | sharw
02/4/2019 18:57 | Still 16% profit! Possibly a small pull back post ex divi but I think this will be back to 150p in no time | gaffer73
02/4/2019 17:28 | Would have been better still if I had sold the 162s at 210 but I was holding on for 212 to get 50p a share. A bit OCD I think. next time I looked we were toilet bound. I thought 91 was the bottom but...............I was wrong 79 was about bottom - no skill just buying when I could get a signal on my phone :( | marksp2011
02/4/2019 16:39 | That's some good averaging down now paying off. I was lucky to discover these when they were 80p so managed buy at the bottom just about. Great divi and great news about Google so I would imagine these will only move further up. | gaffer73
02/4/2019 11:52 | 162 91 79 82 84 I have quite a few now and will start cutting back - average is 86.2 I backed this and APH and both are doing pretty well Both had been hard done by with market reaction | marksp2011
02/4/2019 11:34 | Just out of interest, what price did you buy at? | gaffer73
02/4/2019 10:31 | I feel like I have scored the first goal against Germany and there are only 88 minutes to go | marksp2011
01/4/2019 14:12 | Hmmm I should warn you all that my record of precise timing leaves something to be desired I am making rather a sizeable paper profit..........if I were you I would run away while you still can :) | marksp2011
01/4/2019 10:15 | Market responding well to this news,,,,,,,,,,recent holder here so delighted with the share price reaction,,,,,,,,,exc | cheshire man
28/3/2019 19:18 | Sharw....... is that Finncap who forecast 250 a year ago? I bought on the partnership news as it is low capital intensity so should be a good margin. There was a lack of numbers though which is a shame. I hold significantly more shares than two of the Directors which is a bit alarming and they haven't been buying bucket loads have they? So I am watching this like a hawk | marksp2011
28/3/2019 19:15 | Michael i read the bios of the new chair and the 2 x NEDs They look like they are either going buying or selling to me- there is a fair bit of M&A experience in there. I have never known a long served Chair disappear in a day from the company and the website and, 2 new NEDs appointed same day - experienced business managers he may have been there a long time but the last year has hardly been a success has it? If you get the strategy so badly wrong you lose 70% of your investors money in a year I wouldn't be shocked if someone had a quiet word in your ear. | marksp2011
28/3/2019 16:26 | finnCap very upbeat re partnership and contract and reiterate 185p price target | sharw
28/3/2019 15:21 | That said, the valuation does make them vulnerable to a takeout - NRI | value viper
27/3/2019 21:02 | Where does 'he has been fired I guess' come from? He has been Chairman for 12 years - well beyond the 9 years normally seen as the maximum for an NED to be on a Board never mind the Chair. And where does 'it looks like they are lining it up for a sale' come from? Never let evidence get in the way of a good conspiracy theory! | michaelmcandrew
26/3/2019 17:05 | he has been fired I guess. Looks like they are lining it up for a sale or, to start buying He is already gone from the website :( | marksp2011
25/3/2019 18:11 | The speed with with Mr Todd is departing concerns me a little. Did I miss something in previous RNSs or the s this a bolt from the blue? | zimbtrader
25/3/2019 16:33 | With the dividend yield (presumably) providing a strong support to the share price, it will be interesting to see if the new chair (Karen Bach) is fully committed to the stated policy of maintaining the div at the current level until FY 2020. She has been an NED since Feb 2016, so presumably she has agreed with the dividend policy but it would be human not to feel as fully committed as Keith Todd, who had put his name on the bottom of the statements setting out the policy. (As far as I can see Karen Bach still does not own any shares). | jane deer
19/3/2019 18:33 | Could do with some positive news and updates on the actions being taken to reverse the current situation. Agree re IC. Well remember ST saying Tristel was a sell at 119. I topped up at 97 and it never really looked back. Dumped some Tristel all Ng the way and ALL of my IC subscription! | zimbtrader
19/3/2019 15:43 | Interesting one this has gone ex growth which usually screams value trap, but has no debt and is still chucking out free cashflow off lower turnover to support 8% divi yield, with Pru (M&G) buying. Focus is on margins. | elpirata
11/2/2019 08:06 | I agree. Contrarian Investing: Buy When There's Blood in the Streets. | sev22
11/2/2019 07:51 | A real hatchet job in the IC Tip of the week - SELL ------ Probably the biggest buy flag if you consider how whack these guys are at tipping. Think ill do the opposite of these tards | debeege
08/2/2019 21:47 | A real hatchet job in the IC Tip of the week - SELL | marksp2011
08/2/2019 11:29 | The first institution to declare - Dowding has sold around 1m shares | sharw
07/2/2019 12:33 | All bit strange. I guess there's a seller about, however, you can't buy in any volume so I suspect the price may recover pretty quickly when whatever institutional games are going on have sorted themselves out. | overeager
07/2/2019 11:59 | Very helpful post sharw. Thanks. If 4 are loss making and 3 others break even then Amino are doing realatively well. I’m not familiar with the sector, and was only tempted because of that promise to pay the increased dividend for next 2 years. Market reaction since suggests disbelief that they will be able to keep that pledge. Any views on whether the dividend ploy was a desperate attempt to prevent a share price fall.....if so it hasn’t worked! After all why would Institutions want to dump a share paying a 10%+ dividend? | kenmitch |
