06/6/2017 11:53 | finnCap (joint broker to Amino alongside Canaccord Genuity) have raised TP from 220p to 260p... finnCap today reaffirms its corporate investment rating on Amino Technologies PLC (LON:AMO) and raised its price target to 260p (from 220p). 06/6/2017 11:28 | Sorry for your low price today, many of us sold out of this stock a few weeks ago at 218p to take profits, but this is actually a very solid business and today's low price is a total bargain. Market is unfairly punishing Amino for the very prudent management warning in this RNS about the second half of the year. As usual AIM investors don't want to follow the troughs of a growth story, just ride the peaks. I'll be buying back in shortly. | simonsaid1
06/6/2017 11:06 | penpont, Thanks for the update. | eagle eye
06/6/2017 09:52 | From N+1 Singer via Research Tree: Amino has released a good trading update for the six months to May’17. The group carried strong momentum into the period, having delivered four upgrades in a row in FY’16. This strong momentum has been maintained, with revenue expected to be c.£40m in H1’17 (48% of our FY expectations, versus a traditional 45:55 weighting). Net cash is significantly ahead of our expectations at £13.1m (N+1se: £9.1m). We expect the strong performance to continue into H2’17, but with new products expected to lower margins in the short term, we prudently leave our forecasts unchanged at this time. The shares trade on a Dec’17 PER of 14.9x and yield 3.2%. We believe this remains attractive for a highly cash generative business which is very well placed to meet the changing demands of its end markets. We increase our target price to 243p (from 215p) and retain our Buy recommendation. | penpont
06/6/2017 09:28 | Trading Update - "...The Group entered the period with a strong order backlog and continued its solid sales execution driven by consistent demand for IP devices. Trading for the period was therefore at record levels, in line with management's expectations. Revenue for the period is expected to be approximately £40m representing c.21% growth over H1 2016 revenue of £33m. At constant currency with revenue translated at last year's average exchange rates, this represents revenue growth of c.5%. Margins in the period have been strong. However, we anticipate that they will be lower in the second half of the year as the product mix shifts towards new product lines. As is typical with the launch of new products these will be lower margin, optimising over time as scale is reached. As a result, expectations for the full year remain unchanged. Net cash at 31 May 2017 was £13.1 million (31 May 2016: £3.1m, 30 November 2016: £6.2m) and was positively impacted by the timing of delivery of larger orders which were completed well in advance of the period end..." | speedsgh

27/5/2017 06:29 | A bit more info on Azini for what it is worth: 'Typically we seek to build a significant minority shareholding and expect to hold investments for around 3 to 5 years - providing additional funding if required to maximize the growth, performance and ultimate value at exit' They acquired a holding of 7,888,916 shares in Amino on 10 Sept 07 under the guise of Evolution Securities Nominees Limited so could probably expect the selling to continue speedsgh I will continue to hold my 'triple-bagger' as they say for the time being :o) | hyperboreus
26/5/2017 22:14 | hypo - Thanks for your reply. I no longer hold but was intrigued by the recent selling. As you say, probably nothing to read into it at all. Didn't help that I couldn't find list of shareholders. Rgds | speedsgh
26/5/2017 21:32 | As of 30 Nov 16 Azini Capital Partners owned 7,888,916 shares (11.0%) and as of today they own 7,378,916 (10.29%) Why not 'top slice' a few considering the doubling in the share price over the last 12 months? Share sales can be for many reasons, I never get too fixated with this type of transaction, many 'reasons to be cheerful' moving forward imho :o) | hyperboreus
26/5/2017 20:49 | Azini 1 LP (legal entity closely associated with Michael Bennett, Non-Executive Director) has been busy selling off AMO shares of late. It has now sold over £1m worth since 5/5. Not sure if we should be reading anything into this? 5/5 sold 120,000 @ £2.100588 = £252,070 12/5 sold 100,000 @ £2.086 = £208,600 19/5 sold 230,000 @ £2.08 = £478,400 26/5 sold 60,000 @ £2.082554 = £124,953 Total sold since 5/5 = £1,064,023 EDIT: Info on Major Shareholders on AMO website doesn't appear to be loading currently - | speedsgh

02/5/2017 12:38 | Another update from IC's Simon Thompson today. He recommends top-slicing & running the rest for free prior to the upcoming Trading Update. | speedsgh
26/4/2017 14:46 | Yes, I suspect there could be more to this story, well spotted on the trades. I've sold out defensively, as a 60% profit was my target and the share is ex-div (I don't take profits nearly often enough so trying to be good!). But I may well buy back in later on, it's a terrific company I'll continue to watch. I believe at a minimum the current share price is sustainable, and a sustainably-priced dividend payer brings this share into the purview of a different sort of investor. All looks good. He says, now a holder of zero shares! | simonsaid1
26/4/2017 14:39 | Buys of 90k, 17,968 and 2 x 25k shares today - somewhat larger than the average P.I. reading Motley Fool or Simon T. At the same time there appear to me to be fewer sellers than you might normally get from profit-takers when a share hits an all time high. However, even at 220p a forward p/e of 16 and 3% yield is hardly demanding. All this and it is payday on Friday! | sharw
26/4/2017 13:10 | Good spot! But given it's just hit the extended price target from Simon Thompson and is recently ex dividend, not sure why the buying frenzy. | simonsaid1

29/3/2017 13:34 | As I pointed out yesterday AMO do not usually issue a trading statement at the AGM. Last year there was an end of period statement on June 6th. | sharw
29/3/2017 13:20 | They've told us as much as most companies do. AGM statements are normally just that, limited to the business dealt with. | b1ggles |
