07/9/2017 17:07 | Cheers mfhmfh. He says "I've bought some Amino (AMO) this week. Came up at a seminar in July and kept an eye on it getting some on weakness. Lots to like about this one, nice increases in profits forecast, some decent net cash, a good dividend yield and prospects look bright. Directors have been buying and I bought after shares came off their year high of 220p. I think given a fair wind they should get back there and with a breakout through that then 250 comes into target view. Also looking at supply and demand it is on the rise so a recent seller may have been cleared." | glawsiain
07/9/2017 16:26 | Latest NT blog says he's bought in here | mfhmfh
07/9/2017 13:35 | Large number of small buys from the open today pushing price back up. Tipsheet? | sharw
05/9/2017 15:01 | Hyper - 1790 of 1792 - if you're a serious investor "Trust in no one" and "Be suspicious of everyone" Trust me:) | paleje
04/9/2017 11:19 | Hyper - I was merely passing on info that others may not have seen. I was not offering any opinion as to whether the continued reduction in Azini's holding was +ve or -ve. For the sake of openness, I do not currently hold AMO but have done so previously & may well do so again in the future, hence why I continue to monitor developments with AMO. | speedsgh
02/9/2017 01:04 | Thanks Hyper. Vaguely amusing. It's the thought that counts. SP recovery nicely vindicating my decision not to apply a rolling stop (the fall was roughly 20% from the high of 220) The Donald must be at least £100 up on his recent purchase :-) | quant_investor
30/8/2017 19:49 | So what speedsgh? Azini have been in this one for years, that is exactly what they are about: And as for the likes of boonkoh, quant_investor and paleje to name but a few the moral of this story has to be if you are a SERIOUS INVESTOR "Trust in the Donald" Just for the record I have been in Amino for a long time as Little Miss Jocelyn used to say 😂 : | hyperboreus
30/8/2017 18:01 | And another 850,000 sold today... Holding(s) in Company - 26/5/17 7,378,916 (10.29%) 17/7/17 6,378,916 (8.88%) -1,000,000 8/8/17 5,378,916 (7.49%) -1,000,000 29/8/17 4,778,916 (6.65%) -600,000 30/8/17 3,928,916 (5.47%) -850,000 | speedsgh
30/8/2017 10:53 | Azini continuing to reduce their holding... Holding(s) in Company - 26/5/17 7,378,916 (10.29%) 17/7/17 6,378,916 (8.88%) -1,000,000 8/8/17 5,378,916 (7.49%) -1,000,000 29/8/17 4,778,916 (6.65%) -600,000 | speedsgh
30/8/2017 08:37 | Now it appears the market had done Finn Caps job and cleared the sellers, do we think the £2.60 upgrade can be approached. From the IC and previous notes, £2.20 is very much the next easy target. | rocketfuel1
29/8/2017 22:16 | ............and now we have over 1.5m shares in delayed trades @180 published after 16 00 Curiouser and curiouser | sharw
27/8/2017 20:04 | So that's 2 II's selling down? hmm | pj 1
22/8/2017 23:20 | I'm sitting tight also despite the depressing slide in price. Trades of 67k and 32k shares at the bid price at 15 31 suggests that some institutional investor continues to dribble sells into the market. 1% of the capital is 749k shares so it may be a while before we find out who it is. It is not Azini - because of the director connection every trade has to be declared. | sharw
22/8/2017 23:05 | Agreed Paleje. I can recall a couple of occasions in the past where I've sold out on the back of token director purchases and it turned to be a smart call. However I don't think any of these occurred so soon after positive result which is why I'm sitting tight for now. If Donald is keen to see the share price rise perhaps a reassuring trading update on how H2 has started might be worthwhile? From just a few weeks ago... "We are delighted to deliver a strong first half performance which has been achieved by effective execution on our order book. Revenue and adjusted profit before tax are in line with our expectations and the closing cash position is ahead of expectations. Our sales pipeline is robust and we are therefore confident that we will deliver full year profits in line with market expectations" | quant_investor
22/8/2017 15:13 | That last director buy is the only thing putting me off, all else seems good and the fx movement continues in their favour with some seeing the £ being less than parity with the € by year end. Sometimes does more harm than good directors making pocket money purchases. | paleje
15/8/2017 16:39 | Average volumes are well over 100k so the purchase size was a drop in the ocean which ever way you look at it. | quant_investor
15/8/2017 10:52 | A point well made, Azini were selling in size, Finn Cap couldn't place one front of the other never mind a sellers stock. Why settle the market with a very small purchase if you didn't think the floor was approaching? | rocketfuel1
15/8/2017 09:40 | Although maybe he knew this might be the low as Azini has stopped selling? If they have ... | rustle2
15/8/2017 08:25 | Nothing would have looked better to me. I think the purpose of the purchase was the mandatory RNS. Still the interims were rock solid and more noteworthy than director behaviour. | quant_investor
15/8/2017 07:36 | Maybe he only had £5K available. It is better than nothing. | impvesta
15/8/2017 07:31 | Purchases of this size always look like a token gesture to me. Why increase your holding by as little as c0.5% ? | quant_investor
15/8/2017 07:28 | With a 2780 shares token buy? | boonkoh
15/8/2017 07:08 | If anyone knows what the Company's prospect are this guy does, good old Donald! | hyperboreus
15/8/2017 06:10 | Adam - an extract from the IC article last week. "Since then Amino’s share price has retreated 14 per cent in a rising market, not that the company has disappointed as first-half results fully support the decision of analyst Oliver Knott at brokerage N+1 Singer to upgrade his EPS forecasts in February by 9 per cent for this year and next, to 13.9p and 14.4p, respectively. In fact, 62 per cent of N+1 Singer’s full-year pre-tax profit forecasts were covered in the first half alone, thus providing scope for outperformance if the factors driving the performance – favourable product mix, positive currency headwind on overseas earnings, and good cost control – are repeated in the second half, as seems likely." ST makes further reference to AMO's growing cash pile, prospects of an increased divi, and low multiple relative to sector. Worth subscribing to IMO but DYOR etc. | quant_investor
14/8/2017 20:00 | Hello I've never held AMO though have come close on a couple of occassions. I'd be interested in holders views on the market forecasts for teh company - I saw consensus turnover forecast to be £80.5m this year, despite them making £39.9m in H1. Does this company typically under-promise and then over-deliver or are there reasons for limited growth in H2? Thanks Adam | adamb1978 |
