26/9/2018 07:43 | However: And throw in that the Magufuli strategy is to turn back from the private sector to the state and the economic basket case is going to continue to be the economic basket case. Ask Ferrostaal what it's like trying to establish a major industrial plant in Tanzania. | warbaby43
25/9/2018 20:17 | Thats the point DH - a strong united Europe will stand more chance when the next hiccup comes than the weak divided European alliance that we'll have especially if/when we leave. It seems to be forgotten that one of the principal reasons for the formation of the Common Market was to make war in Europe again less likely. | skinwalker
25/9/2018 09:56 | Agree with that but what happens with the next world 'hiccup'? Those printing presses will be on again to buy further 'assets' (ahem). | dunderheed
25/9/2018 09:36 | apparently they are closing the print works! Despite warning that the single currency area was going through a soft patch at a time when protectionist risks were rising, the ECB said it would wind down its bond purchases over the next six months. The ECB is currently boosting the eurozone money supply by buying €30bn of assets each month, but this will be reduced to €15bn a month after September and ended completely at the end of 2018. | fireplace22
25/9/2018 09:23 | LT sorry for late reply overslept this morning lol! Yes you did bloody well getting out of AEX then and fantastic buy price at NUOG. Having said that and don't want to sound at all critical (especially as you've got your investment decision so 'right' to date - especially compared to me with regard to AEX lol) however, I believe some of your decision behind leaving AEX was due to perceptions of mgt ability, trustworthiness and inability to deliver. Are you not starting to think the same of NUOG as they do have quite a long history if you see what I'm saying? Don't take this the wrong way because you have really really put your money where your mouth is and obviously 1000% believe. I totally respect your punt but I was just wondering as well? | dunderheed
25/9/2018 09:21 | Meanwhile Aminex's world class BOD work their fingers to the bone. The rate of progress here is brilliant. I'm dizzy, can't keep up.In Aminex speak, the end of the world is imminent! | canigou2
25/9/2018 09:13 | Nobody respects the EU's feelings of rejection. They're very angry. | gerryjames
25/9/2018 09:10 | I don't understand your point. They are skilled negotiators and we're not. Is that it? David Davis was so out of his depth it was embarrassing. (ps WE haven't lost yet) | skinwalker
25/9/2018 08:56 | Sw sounds a bit patronising? It doesn't matter who is why they voted but unfortunately 'we' lost. I say 'we' I was onky marginally a remainer but now am certainly a leaver as I think the way in has been treated in negotiations is exactly what us wrong with the EU. I don't need a lecture from anyone about we are leaving and what did we expect? | dunderheed
25/9/2018 08:50 | No, the Bentley is tucked up in the garage until next spring - white GT Continental convertibles are a little delicate. I'll take the Porsche. I don't see Brexit as 'political' really, neither Labour or Conservative know what their position is. Its more to do with age. Most old farts (myself excluded) voted to Leave. Most of the younger generation voted to Remain. Most with university education in towns (London, Liverpool, Manchester, Oxford, Bristol etc) voted to Remain. | skinwalker
25/9/2018 08:15 | It won't. Or be so slow it looks like it isn't. Probably. Did LT sell another 1million and tank the share price | gerryjames
25/9/2018 08:09 | that's not meant to happen | blackgold00
25/9/2018 07:47 | yes that's the one, gas producer | blackgold00
25/9/2018 07:30 | SIGNIFICANT RESOURCE BASE-DRILLBIT SUCESS-DEBT FREE GAS PRODUCER Is that the one BG? They're still here. Producer? | gerryjames
24/9/2018 11:44 | Hmmm...can’t reach their site again, what is Aminex up to, they haven't done another runner? I think news is very close and the farm-out circular is about to be published, I hope its a good read. | blackgold00
24/9/2018 11:09 | Hi Dunderheed I worked in Putney for a couple of years in the early seventies and just wish I'd bought there then but settled on Brentford where I still made a couple of bob over a 4-year period from 76 to 80 where I bought at £11,000 and sold at £29,000! Don't laugh but the place is probably worth 3 - 400k now!!!! Skin - do you drive to any of your political gigs in your Bentley or do you leave it safely at home ...... just in case you get labelled as a "rich-git so-and-so"??? By the bye, I'm thanking the Lord that I sold circa 15 million Aminex at an average of about 3p and bought NUOG at an average of about .5p'ish where I now hold nearly 73 million BUT the Bentley's still on hold as I'm waiting for at least 2p on NUOG to feel confident enough to take out a loan and that'll probably be on a second-hand Range Rover Vogue. Good luck all in though! LT | last throw
24/9/2018 09:05 | Morning Gerry Yes, thank goodness for that! | skinwalker
24/9/2018 08:59 | Never mind the fact you left London too early and now can't aford to get back in... You've both still got your Aminex Shares. | gerryjames
24/9/2018 08:42 | If u had the chance to buy ppty in Putney in the 80's you'd be a very happy chappy I think! Haven't a clue re DE but you're right quite a few years back lol! | dunderheed
24/9/2018 08:37 | Maybe there were items worth reading when your nana read it DH? Its all nationalist claptrap now, with the odd incorrect prediction of blizzards and freezing weather. Posh? Have you been to Putney? Mind you - I think it has changed since my time there! | skinwalker |
