I wonder how many times over the years have you posted "won't be long now then..." or similar?

won't be long now then, we're half way through September. the farm-out circular should be published by the end of September, which is going to have a lot of info in it, then the EGM to be held 2-3 weeks later in oct. though I guess we do need the extension of the Mtwara Licence so the Zubair's has something to actually farm-in to. so I think the Mtwara Licence extension could be the next bit of news.

Well we need to wait for the farm out to close in November before anything will happen.

acquire & deliver rig .. how long does it take to pick one and arrange for delivery?? It’s nearly 3 weeks .. the only consolation is that there is a great chance of it being commercial based on nt1/nt2 and analysis.. which will kick on the share price .. but management are appalling slow.. to deliver this well.

Looks like the gypsy community in Tanzania are planning to use gas from Madimba.

"Tanzania: Knauf Gypsum Tanzania is set to benefit from a new connection to the Madimba natural gas pipeline as part of a project by the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC). The project plans to connect local industries in the Mkurunga area, south of Dar es Salaam, to the pipeline, according to the Citizen newspaper. Knauf Gypsum Tanzania and Lodhia Steel Industries have agreed to be connected soon after the installation of electricity is completed.

Georgious Zachopoulos, the managing director of Knauf Gypsum Tanzania, said that he expects the plant to save at least US$3m by switching to natural gas from coal. At present the unit sources coal from the Iringa region. Moving to natural gas is also expected to increase the lifetime of the machines at the plant and reduce its emissions. The plant expects to start using natural has by the end of 2019."

It would need a special kind of management Dunderheed. The Krays might have done well out there in their day. For example.

Lol...morbid sense of curiosity.

Think it's all still imminent, (or happening shortly).

Personally I've all but lost patience/interest and have reduced my holding accordingly. I've retained a nominal amount, just out of some morbid sense of curiosity.

You can't all have gone back to school...surely.

Or has it become so dull and boringly predictable dealing with the Tanzanian pocket-liners we know not a lot will happen. Take the meritless revenue dispute surronding KN-1...little wonder it's been abandoned. But we have to sound enthusiastic about any talk of remedial work...lol what a game.

The half year report last year was released on Thursday 28 September. That day would be Thursday 27 September this year. 17 trading days. News beforehand on Ruvuma spudding? Kiliwani work commencing?

Peter

I am not sure that $9m is their share for the C1 drill. Must be lower than that. I only care about getting Solo across that line so that we can get on with it.

Malcy says Solo fully funded for Ruvuma now..

How does Malcy get to £9m cash for Solo? They've recently raised about £2m (after costs), they raised a similar amount earlier in the year, but spent it on buying more HH. They had a few hundred £k at year end.

Does Malcy think they are getting £4.5m and the shares?

It's a bit risky of SOLO to convert that cash into shares. Should they not have used the money for Ruvuma?

If / when Horse Hill canters closer to becoming a producer then investment funds will become more confident in buying shares. SOLO should not have a problem disposing of the consideration shares in one or two lumps.
