18/2/2015 15:05 | I think I've got it ! The Board here are practicing Game Theory. Apparently, they've been to Athens attending courses taught by our old friend Yanis Varoufakis (Varoufakis apparently means "the old faker" in greek). The problem is that nobody (Yanis included) appears to have a clue about what Game Theory actually is, so they are all bluffing and counterbluffing everybody they meet (TPDC included). Of course, the TPDC haven't got a clue what they're on about, or even what planet they're from. This of course explains the current impasse with neither GSA or CPR or indeed any other acronym in sight. It all makes sense now eh? | skinwalker
18/2/2015 14:16 | Is BH still here? I can't remember having RNS about a new chairman. | slepy
18/2/2015 13:46 | Yes, Peter, I had recalled that and in view of all the past bragging about a hugger-mugger, buddy-buddy special relationship with TPDC and the catalogue (by jacks13) of the promised imminence of the GSA stretching over 18 months now, some form of parallel token by the gang would probably now be appreciated by shareholders pending a GSA and funding. Meanwhile, from your connections, I wonder if there is anything you can share on any provisioning for the June 2015 appraisal drill obligation and its almost certain breach - will the "special relationship" be enough, once again, to get an extension, do you think? | warbaby43

18/2/2015 10:28 | blackgold @ 51578, June - 2 years from grant of Appraisal Licence dated 20th June 2013. See 1.7 on p19 of Prospectus for drilling obligations. The absence of a GSA means that AEX are completely stymied - can't raise money via either loans or placing or do corporate deals. The concern must be that AEX has been a serial breacher of licence obligations. Pity though - this from Oilbarrel's piece on Bahamas yesterday makes me wonder how much now for two back-to-backs on Ntorya: "Importantly, given the slump in the oil price, the company has also managed to slash the price-tag on its first exploration well. This used to stand at an intimidating US$120 million but having re-engineered the well plans and hired a leading rig broker to find a suitable rig as dayrates sink with the oil price, BPC now reckons it can bring the well in for between US$50 and US$60 million." And, from the same source, can you think of anyone for whom this might be setting an example? "The Board, for example, agreed to forgo 20 per cent of remuneration to only be repaid, in shares, in the event of a successful farm-out or other arrangement to finance the first exploration well. In all, it reckons it has delivered 54 per cent saving in total operating costs over the past three years." | warbaby43
18/2/2015 09:19 | Sick and tired of these updates with nothing new being done. I can already see the update coming out in June, saying GSA will be signed in H2. Wonder where they will take money for appraisal. Let me guess, another 800mil shares? And no mention of Egypt or Moldova. Do we even still have this in our portfolio, or they forgot about it? I could be a CEO of company like this. 2 days in the office, "Hmm nothing new . Let's go home and come back in a week" Absolutely fkin useless. | slepy
18/2/2015 08:41 | What's the equivalent of 20 mmcfd(of gas) in barrels of oil? | silverlandfinance
18/2/2015 08:41 | ahh this reads better from Solo RNS, you have got to laugh haven't you. Solo "The KNDL joint venture has also been notified by TPDC that pressure testing of the pipeline is expected to commence shortly and the final construction of equipment to connect KN-1 is expected within the same timeframe." Aminex "The KNDL joint venture has been notified by TPDC that pressure testing of the pipeline is expected to commence during the first half of 2015 and the final construction of equipment to connect is expected within this timeframe in order for commissioning to occur." | blackgold00
18/2/2015 08:40 | bg SOLO have no floating charge, I assume legally they have well covered themselves? | pj 1
18/2/2015 08:37 | Solo just issued their RNS and just gone blue, bloody marvellous | blackgold00
18/2/2015 08:32 | when have we got to drill that Ntorya appraisal well by, June July? | blackgold00
18/2/2015 08:22 | bg Im not sure you can, I doubt Argo would give their cards away. But thats the Risk to AEX is my point. There could be a bigger game being played of which AEX has no part......floating charge and all that....... | pj 1
18/2/2015 08:19 | that would be mean of TPDC, how can you check that one out PJ1? | blackgold00
18/2/2015 08:14 | I would check and determine if the 'Authoroties' have been communicating with Argo at all. | pj 1
18/2/2015 08:12 | not what the market wanted to hear, "The KNDL joint venture has been notified by TPDC that pressure testing of the pipeline is expected to commence during the first half of 2015 and the final construction of equipment to connect is expected within this timeframe in order for commissioning to occur" | blackgold00
18/2/2015 08:04 | looks like they really don't get it.....credibility getting shot regularly at this stage.....next stop...1.7 or lower imo.... | thecynical1
18/2/2015 08:00 | The pipeline is close to completion and AEX's gas is going into it. Revenue is not far away. If you are one of the bigger players perhaps you may think this is a good time for a bid and we could get our Cove moment. Just a thought. | 888icb
18/2/2015 07:58 | I wonder what spin Solo can put on it, no RNS from them yet | blackgold00
18/2/2015 07:50 | "Would you not want to be in this BEFORE the GSA is confirmed?" yes but it seems we've had plenty of time to get in. but I suppose now, the contractors, has begun constructing the Skid Metering Unit within the boundaries of Kiliwani North, its looking like the GSA could arrive at any time. | blackgold00
18/2/2015 07:39 | Would you not want to be in this BEFORE the GSA is confirmed? | codhead1
18/2/2015 07:38 | well TPDC must be pretty certain they are going to be buying KN gas. but at what price? "Aminex is pleased to notify shareholders that the Tanzanian Petroleum Development Corporation ("TPDC"), through its contractors, has now begun constructing the Skid Metering Unit within the boundaries of the Kiliwani North Development Licence" | blackgold00
18/2/2015 07:34 | 1H is no change from the info recently last 20 meters pipe laid and final construction started | kwizza
18/2/2015 07:33 | Well its another slow step in the right direction, should be nicely blue this morning. | addison17 |
