I simply told him that because of his lies about the company that I had lost all of my life savings and that I, along with others were a tad unhappy. No threats or anything.

Open letterWhat was on the paper?Hello John,You don't know me personally but I have chatted with you briefly at the last 4 Amerisur AGM's.Like every shareholder I have spoken to, nobody can understand the logic of the Geopark deal and the lowball offer you appear to have deemed acceptable. Given the high bar to acceptance - again, which I know private investors holding around 5% of the share cap will vote against, the $2.4 million walk away clause seems ridiculous and unnecessary.Clearly, acceptance of the proposal crystallises all those lovely options you recently shipped offshore and yet do not deserve if company performance was ever a yardstick, however you clearly have been infected by that GC greed we all despise.If you, Giles and Nick had had enough, you could have handed control to somebody else rather than sold us collectively down the river for a pittance, heaven knows even Rex Harbour could have done a better job post CP05 for shareholders, and placed all the employees in jeopardy but hey, greed is good but how much do you really need?If 19.2p or less was written on the peice of paper you alluded to at the last AGM, or if you believe the 2.2p premium over the offer from M & P is what was meant by materially undervaluing the company and it's assets, then I guess you must be feeling pretty pleased with yourself. I have been an advocate of the Amerisur project for donkeys years and have accumulated a significant shareholding, but felt that the AIM listing exposed me to unnecessary risk. It turns out that I was not wrong and I can only hope that, if there aren't 75.1% of suckers in Amerisur, you and your fellow board members will have the decency to resign, walk away and leave us to sort out the mess.

Just a thought, why couldn’t the company initiate a share buy back scheme and take Michinoko Amer holdings before we ever reached this stage.

This is a reply from Charles Stanley today. To stand half a chance of getting somewhere with this shareholders will have to be proactive and instruct their Brokers.

general meeting, no dates for the meetings have been announced. The document suggests that they are expected to be held in December 2019 or January 2020.
