I think there should be some sort of legal case for the share price to be around the current price the companies being sold for when management decided to tell us sit tight,I missed out on multi baggers because of this but my point is why tell us to sit tight if two months later the price was going to be the same

Shocked at the management recommendation. Presumably some of the LTIP’s were 19p. Malcy, the paid for puppet, talking about how successful management have been! Feel sorry for long term holders who couldn’t average down. Glad to be out now anyway. Good luck all.

The problem is that the market is not valuing oil stocks due to the EV expectation. We canny command top money when the market think oil sooner or later is going to tank

Lol... All I have to say to JW is what a load of tosh. The BOD have seen themselves right with their bonuses over the years. So angry and disappointed.

Self-funded Growing Business with Light Oil Production, Proven Reserves, Low Breakeven Cashflow, Low Risk Development Opportunities, Significant Exploration Resources, Strategic Acreage, New Basin Entry, Carried Exploration Drilling, Cross-border Pipeline, New Partnerships, and Operating and Commercial Synergies

Sounds like an attractive investment..... GPRK think so..

Minchinoku, Clarke and Turf to table on NEX as well.
I still think there is a tie up between Clarke and Michinoku

If you believe in the assets and are underwhelmed by the AMER BOD why not buy the suitor GPRK ?

Seriously.... 15 years of waiting and JW has the following to say.

"Commenting on the Transaction, John Wardle, Chief Executive Officer of Amerisur, said:

"Today underlines the success Amerisur has achieved in building an attractive E&P business in Colombia."

after observing todays trading & thinking it through - this is not the end game imho

I am staying put.

Many things make no sense.

We say - smoke a rabbit out of the hole - persuade as many weak hands to sell. imho this is it. what the real end game is I do not speculate

23.8% of shares in support. Hmmm....

Representatives of very similar percentage of shares once asked to meet with the BoD and was brushed aside and treated as insignificant by the newly installed GC.

A wry smile from Brian?

It’s hardly conceivable that a company with no debt and great assets is being recommended by our BOD for sale at this amount. I’m hoping there’s more to play for here in that counter offers will be tabled.

Never in the field of massive Amerisur potential was so little paid to so many

Never in the field of massive Amerisur potential was so much paid to so few

Will ONGC now be forced to undertake the CPO5 drill knowing that it may still show a result before any bid is concluded?

They may be forced to go ahead now and pending any result offer a counter bid.

£1 by Christmas

As disappointing as this is, I feel I can look forward to not having to wait any longer on this pathetic BOD to continually non deliver. I will be waiting for the full buy out in the hope of a higher bid, besides which £400 extra is £400. Would be nice if the pay out was before Xmas. :o(
