I sent an email on Monday regarding the AGM to find out what paperwork I needed to attend, still no acknowledgement!! I don’t suppose I can just rock up on the day and get seat? Any advice appreciated on what I need to do. Cheers Spudders

If Michinoko are in fact registered in the BVI, then they don't need to register their share interest.

Gh Don't suggest for one minute it would be a hostile bid. But the BoD would not be able to refuse a higher bidder in the event of a bidding war between them, which is quite plausible

Ghhh, minchinoku invests in all of GC's companies. They hold 11%. There are also one or two other offshore companies with an interest as well as JW's Tracata.

Michinoko appears to be investment company with multiple holdings unconnected to AMER?

I thought the keenest bidder would be one of the Canadian listed companies but they are likely to want to pay with paper? Can't see the likes of Occi going hostile on their farm in partner.

times 300 working days =1.150 bn shares traded out of 1.215 total shares.

with no major holders change?

PS - now you can correct me - also for being wrong on the decimals lol

Don't you believe that.

The Board may only have 3% in their own names, but who are Michinoko?

If the institutions were so upset at Amerisur, they would have expressed that view at AGM's and in voting, but in general they are happy with the BoD otherwise they would not be here.

I too believe Amerisur will be taken out, but nothing like the 20p or so others suggest. Its worth much more and would go for much more with BoD Approval.

The institutions if dissatisfied would either vote with their feet or their votes would sway any AGM resolution, but so far there's no indication of their dissatisfaction, although it would be pleasing to see some of them step up to the plate over the LTIP.

Any takeover likely to have multiple bidders including GTE, ONGC and Occi let alone any Chinese predators who tend to join forces with ONGC.

As we know with these things, polarity will be reversed when they are good and ready, but for the share price to off some 40%+ from conservative highs - post CPO5 Indico-1 flows-testing and progress with Plat w/o is difficult to fathom.

There have been many AIM shares where holding were not declared.


Ie, XEL, where the shares were held in a front company, in the British Virgin Islands.
