01/5/2019 06:36 | AMER is very frustrating at the moment. Down 22.06% since the start of the year compared to: TLW - +33.56% PMO - +60.97% TXP - +32% JKX - +37.50% SIA - +3.86% You can add others I am sure, like JSE that are over 50% up. Not many seem to be down although JOG is currently down just over 57%! Things have to get better here soon surely? | ![]() lauders
30/4/2019 23:37 | Apart from changes at the top, I would like to see a move to a full market listing. That would give greater accountability and credibility plus stronger Governance rules OH, silly me! Maybe that's why the Chairman totally dismissed the idea at an AGM a couple of years back. | ![]() tonyrelaxes
30/4/2019 22:31 | It's a Flying Dutchman share and the reason the city doesn't like it is too many shares in too few hands. It looks like a public company but operates like a private one. The share price is only going to go up when the controlling interests decide that they want to capitalise on their investment. Stagnating share price is why Rexy sold out and moved on. I've an outside hope that the move back to London perhaps heralds the beginning of an exit strategy but I'm not holding my breath Q | ![]() quidnunc

30/4/2019 18:07 | Just got home from a day walking the Brecon Beacons, I see we are down again. Latest OBA throughput is looking good, with nearly 98000 barrels for the month and nearly 5000 bopd now, plus CPO, so we have reached the magical 7k bopd again!! We must have an AGM coming up the board are working their nuts off to manufacture good figures again to stem all those awkward questions Tuesday 14th! | moneylender
30/4/2019 16:41 | Close 12.86 so 13p didn't hold and share price still trending lower, next stop 11s :( With production improving this is a bl##dy frustrating share to hold! | rollthedice

30/4/2019 14:08 | I saw today Berkshire Hathaway committed $10 billion to Occidental. This is the company that has paid to farm in our assets for which we had no short term plans. UK private investors don’t appreciate the significance of this. Amerisur has been a frustrating share to hold, but sentiment can’t get much lower than it is now, and this will be looked at as a buying opportunity. We are at a base that JW recently bought a £million worth of shares. I can’t see downside from here, just significant upside. As soon as sentiment changes here we definitely won’t be ‘praying for a 21p takeover’, it will be significantly higher. | ![]() mikett1

30/4/2019 13:21 | Hi podgyted You could well be correct I realise that there are many PIs frustrated with management that goes back over sometime. I would not even try to argue otherwise but I am currently focused on the strong partners in Occidental and ONGC. With such significant partners I think they will control the activity AMER will need to follow for the next 12-18 mths, CP-05 looks very promising and I personally believe that AMER will land up selling their 30% in due course. The April OBA volume gives some hope but like many I will look in regularly at the available data and see if this really is a turning point. Should the share price continue to languish then hopefully that will press the board to pull their finger out or perhaps leave the company open to some corporate interest - who knows but this year does feel like something has to give. | ![]() yasrub
30/4/2019 13:15 | Meeting coming up so oil in pipeline going up. Is it me or will it be the usual we are now on track again look forward to your jam tomorrow. (We have our jam now so if it comes good ok if not I'm alright Jack!). | ![]() bryet
30/4/2019 12:55 | Give in now and it plays their game for them by increasing shareholder dissatisfaction and reducing number of ordinary shareholders and then they step in a few months before a bid, buying like there's no tomorrow leaving some very disgruntled ex holders. There is definitely a game going on with Amerisur share price and if you want to sell now, good luck but in my opinion a very poor strategy | ![]() tyler durden1
30/4/2019 12:36 | If we are back to close on 5k at Plat that is a really positive development. | ![]() acv74
30/4/2019 12:31 | Yasrub The one thing I've learnt from my time in AMER is only pain of death motivates them to produce an RNS. | ![]() podgyted
30/4/2019 11:28 | Why the secrecy. Can AMER not tell us? | ![]() tsmith2
30/4/2019 09:59 | Thanks somnus. I hope you are right. You have always been a sensible poster. Like many LTH's I have often been tempted to take flight before my gossamer wings of patience finally drop off and it will become too late. Good fortune to all. | ![]() kipper62
30/4/2019 09:30 | I think the OBA volume is our production, I would expect any third party agreement to be updated by RNS first. | ![]() yasrub
30/4/2019 09:27 | Kipper - With the AGM in London rather than hidden in Wales in two weeks Management will find good news for it. Sell now and you will simply realise loss. Stick it out and you could see good profit. This company is under attack by Short Sellers but will come good. Management is experienced and capable, there is cash in the Bank, Assets and prospects are exciting, Partners going forward are substantial and knowledgeable. With you I am disappointed in the current share price but we have little to lose by sitting tight. | somnus101
30/4/2019 09:25 | Things are improving with the oba volume, I wonder if it's our production or a third party start up? | ![]() n95
30/4/2019 09:22 | Plat-7 kicking in? Looks encouraging. | paradores |
