Lots of meat there. By my estimation fair price is now around 26p. Plat currently producing 2900, with CPO-5 at 2300.

I have questions gersemi. that is all. and I wrote what I am pleased with wich is:

+Indico as per se
+concentration of the efforts on Indico
+huge prospective increase of the reserves in non Indico towards 100 mmbo
+hints towards prospective reserves being well underestimated which means double, triple over a decade or two

amer could end up with up to500 mmbo reserves !!!!
imho

some optimistic thoughts for you lol

Very happy with that update 3rd rig would really speed things up extra cash for storing barrels as oil creeps higher that's what you can do when your cash rich make your own rules exciting times ahead. Mr Wardle says it all no wonder the directors loaded up wonder what the market thinks

John Wardle, CEO of Amerisur Resources, said:
"Our strategy continues to be to create shareholder value through exposure to material upside in our portfolio, where we continue to deliver by way of our active programme with the drill bit in two core areas of Colombia. Our forward activities are all fully funded from internal resources and positive cash flow from our producing assets, and we remain debt-free.
"We are extremely encouraged by the progress made across our portfolio during 2018. In particular, the excellent results at Indico, where we have added immediate material reserves with very large future upside. McDaniel have a long history and detailed understanding of the Llanos basin in Colombia and the attribution of substantial reserves at this very early stage is a reflection of the quality of our LS3 play.
"The activity we plan in CPO-5 and in our acreage in the Putumayo basin during 2019 has the potential to transform Amerisur - I have never been more excited by, or optimistic about the Company's future."

Thanks to Drake on LSE - well undervalued here

'By the time they are finished at CPO-5 the asset will be worth at least £300m to AMER, possibly more. That leaves £50m cash, £75m worth OBA, Occidental PUT deal worth £130m (£70m cash) andrest of plat...£75m?

Total £500m

And that is conservative as both CPO-5 and Occidental campaign could deliver at least 50% higher numbers.

Market cap £223m? Absolute bargain. It's a giveaway. Rerate to 30p going to arrive if or when the next CPO-5 well delivers good news.

They could have 3 x wells drilling in Q1/Q2 and another 4 or 5 wells drilling across all assets in Q3/Q4. Very exciting year ahead.'

I like that JW concentrates on good, important and soon - Indico.
He knows his priorities.
but who is second in command to kick Platanillo into the better shape?

there are technical issues - code still not completely cracked at Platanillo. They underreport the issues there - do they know what is going on and will make corrections in the new holes or they do not really (as they avoid comment the tech details) know how to improve productivity/reduce down time

cleaning/stimulating/replacing probably costs a lot in cash terms. it is not just about not producing and selling

Large traps coming from different sources - main coming from the NE

As suspected further fall in production during Q4 and despite current production reaching 5426bopd nearly half of that will be coming from CPO-5 (5130+3150)*30%.

There's clearly ongoing issues at Platanillo which together with Pintadillo is producing <3k bopd which is under utilising the OBA.

Just as well CPO-5 coming up trumps or share price really would be up sh### creek.

Nice move (as it proved to be right call) to hold Platanillo sales until poo bounced a bit from December lows.

Excellent news. Delayed RNS due to stocktaking and reduced export volumes due to royalties. No mention at all of new pumping station issues. It's about time 3rd party OBA was initiated, although why are they only sorting this now??Overall, a ripping good yarn methinks. A-

Wow maybe three rigs at CPO-5 now. That would be great. Let’s hope 20p disappears today.

And a 3rd rig as well. I reckon ONGC-Amerisur are becoming very, very excited at what they've found at Llanos. No wonder the President's tweeting about it

to be fair to podgyted, the mon-fri OBA throughputs available from

have been in the low 2K's so far this year. So unless they squeeze 9K down the line/day at un-reported weekends.....

Caveat: I'm not completely familiar with AMER. So there's probably another explanation, beyond my limited comprehension of the company, and/or Ecuadorian reporting of OBA oil received. What am I missing? Any suggestions? Trucking oil perhaps? Some of oil gets diverted? Maybe all is well, but would be nice to be confirmed, with a quarterly production update, as indicated? They used to issue monthly production updates, or was it OBA numbers, in the not too distant past?

OTOH you have the director buys!
And CPO-5, Oxy Andina; + etc etc.
