AMER need to take a lesson from PPC on how to write an RNS, instead of just regurgitating the same update about production every month.

World consumption of oil is rising. If oil production falls off a cliff it $100bbl not $40 .When shale is seen as con it is - that takes out over 4mmbbls a day from world - causing massive increases in oil price

Hi Harrisun
Will you be offloading your holding here on the prediction in the interview in your link that the oil price is going back to $40??

My mistake Eddie, just re-read the rns, 16 wells to be drilled this year

Chairman comment -
We remain very busy targeting up to 16 gross wells by the end of 2018 focusing on Pad 2N, Putumayo 9, Putumayo 8, CPO-5 and Putumayo 12, together with the N Sand anomaly wells on Platanillo, all fully funded from existing cash resources and cash generated from activities at $45 oil."

Commencing the three N Sand Anomaly wells seemed to be Amer's Q1 target, but it would be helpful to be updated.

Encouraging to see more larger buys. It almost makes one think something is on the way.

As far as I’m aware the drill is not turning at this moment in time.
I appreciate there’s plenty of drills planned but where and what is to be next I don’t know.
I’m happy to be corrected and also keen to find out which well is to be next.

Patience, patience, we've just had a 25% uplift over the past week and a nice steady rise is far preferable to any ramp driven spikes.

POO still rising, Amer producing at a nice steady rate, and the drillbit continuing to turn.

It's all good.............

DOW JONES NEWS 11am 11-01-2018

Oil prices hit a fresh three-year high on Thursday ahead of a U.S. decision on whether to extend temporary waivers on sanctions against Iran.

Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, rose 0.3% to $69.40 a barrel on London's ICE Futures exchange. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate futures were trading up 0.5% at $63.88 a barrel.

U.S. President Donald Trump is set to review whether to waive or reimpose sanctions on Iran this week, a decision that has implications on Iran's oil exports.
