10/12/2016 08:15 | FWIW, Looks to me like attention is focused on the more speculative leverage plays such as TLW, PMO, ENQ etc rather than AMER. | sleveen
10/12/2016 08:10 | tony No, I don't think we know each other. I know of the company and those products being a pharmacist :-) | sleveen

09/12/2016 21:19 | and then moved on to make real money Tony ? I remember sitting across from you over dinner -- highest respect. Love to hear success stories without the need for fast cars or flash boats, but blessed be the man who can grow the fastest runner beans. Well done ! Hope there will be another ' ruby ' where we meet again but preferably NOT without Val or Fat Greek !! Blue lights soon enough here -- patience required. GL | westmoreland lad
09/12/2016 20:47 | It was in 1969 that I was looking at Oil of Olay (for my division's MD). After my report I heard no more of the idea. Exactly like his next (desperate?) idea, a local 'medicinal' honey producer he drove past each day! A few months later his office was mysteriously totally cleared overnight and he was never seen again! I survived there a couple of years longer before I decided to move on. | tonyrelaxes
09/12/2016 20:36 | Quite educational really, this board :) Apparently - 1999 decided to unify the brand under a global name. Thus, Oil of Ulan and Ulay became Olay on a worldwide basis. | 3roach
09/12/2016 20:31 | Nicholas Group, 225 Bath Road, Slough. I'll recall the phone number shortly. It's amazing what I remember from the past but can't find where I put the pen I was using 10 minutes ago! Main products - Aspro, Radox, Rennie, Quells, Feminax, Bio-Tex, Fields soaps and fragrances, Almay cosmetics and numerous prescription only pharma products - not forgetting the now very non-PC Ambi range of skin lightening product (for which I worked for a year in East Africa). Did I know you? | tonyrelaxes
09/12/2016 19:57 | tony which company? | sleveen
09/12/2016 19:53 | It's Oil of Ulay. I know, because in the late 1960s I worked for a Pharmaceutical & Cosmetics group then looking to acquire new products to complement their products. I spend several days researching them - to no avail. OLAY! Grrrr.... Bloody kids! ;-) | tonyrelaxes
