I am not posting the 'Pone' or blame links. I sense Seismic vehicles look like army trucksor armoured cars. The Colombian Army have been heavy handed chasing Farc guerillasand Tribes people have been shot up and harassed in error or just because the helicopter infra-red detects them as hot-spot bodies in the rainforest and they get attacked. As Amerisur the multi-national oil co want to send in Seismic vehicles and follow updrilling rigs the tribal elders say no. They have a say-so to some degree. Amerisur are busy via their new Colombian PR and Personnel co trying to liaise with the tribal groups. I think this is at an advanced stage. Now peace is declared the Govt have no right to shoot up anyone and we should be able to gain footage. One reason I have not posted a link is that the newspaper have used photos of a Brazilian tribal group who may look a little more exotic and untouched by 'civilisation'. Pictures I have foundof the puebloZiobains show them in tribal regalia but wearing jeans and t-shirts. ergo they have some contact and the pictures could be taken by tourists. Let Amer's new PR explain. They have a lot to tell us, both this, and otherwise. Worse I believe is happening in the Yasuni National park south of Putumayo, in Ecuador, near Shushufendi.

Farc deal signed.. now for the indigenous communities we never heard of before.

Val -- Regarding peace our one and only concern / threat WAS the signing of the peace deal with the Farc. That has been completed and WELL DONE to all involved.
Since then - see your post above, you have almost given us a daily commentary about a more serious threat to AMER being the indigenous communities we never heard of before. From my records I see John Wardle as a person who actually does care about other folk in the community hence the building of schools / new roads / help in the general care of local people etc . etc .

Trying to disentangle what is Amerisur, what is historical and what is government/FARC. They appear to be using Amerisurs activities to gain leverage (and who can blame them). As far as I can see Amerisur haven't done a great deal wrong, although good PR wouldn't go amiss and there was the destruction of some trees that we know about (was that a different tribe?)

Certainly added risk though, both political and legal and my interpretation could be off.

After 800 years you will not provoke me. I need assurance they, Amer, are not condoning the killing of ancient people to access oil. I hope they can. If not, well I'll make my choice after ten years. S'funny but Colombia news sites with Maribel Escobar and Marco tulio gonzales names and indian tribes sionas and pueblo ziobains plus governor of Putumayo, Erzan have been embargoed. Unavailable on Google. Wonder why? Rumour has it a statement is 'imminent' and Amer will supply as much Elastoplast and Johnson's baby oil as is necessary to sooth wounded pride, bruises and headaches caused by heavy treaded seismic vehicles using country back roads without indicators or rubber bumpers in put-12 of Putumayo. TLW PMO ENQ have massive debts, so their share price is higly geared to the POO.

Amer has cash, so the leveraging effect on the share price by a rising POO is much less.

IMHO.
